District contest will be held in Mitchell on the 5th of November. Region contest will also be held in Mitchell on the 24th of November. State Contest will be December 5-6 in Watertown.

Menno will offer a Fan Bus to go to the playoff game in Hamlin. We need at least 20 people to ride the bus in order for it to go. It will be $10 per person to ride the bus. High school students and adults can ride the bus. PreK-8th grade can ride the bus if accompanied by a parent/guardian. Sign up for the fan bus by calling the school at 605-387-5161 or sign up in the office. Money will be collected before boarding the bus.

Trappers game report from the Yankton P&D online. Alcester-Hudson 64, Scotland-Menno 16 ALCESTER — Alcester-Hudson’s Jackson Meyer recorded four touchdowns as the Cubs downed the Scotland-Menno Trappers, 64-16, in prep football action on Friday. Meyer’s four touchdown catches included 101 receiving yards in the Cubs’ victory. Also for Alcester-Hudson, Tommy Walth went 13-for-15 passing for 232 yards. Walth tallied one touchdown run. Liam Moumy totaled 109 rushing yards with one touchdown. Jacob Cole recorded one touchdown catch. For the Trappers, Izayah Ulmer finished with 88 passing yards, including one touchdown. Ulmer totaled one rushing touchdown. Erick Buechler recorded one touchdown catch. On defense, Jaxon Stoebner tallied eight tackles for the Trappers. Alcester-Hudson closed the regular season at 6-2, while Scotland-Menno finished 4-4.
