🏈🏈Congratulations to the Scotland/Menno Trappers middle school boys football team and coaches on going 3-0 at AH Jamboree. They defeated Freeman 22-16 (scored the winning touchdown as time expired), defeated AH 24-6, and defeated Centerville 24-0. Way to go boys! 🏆
**Schedule Update**
There have been more changes to the schedule for the Alcester-Hudson football jamboree.
The Menno Wolves volleyball team has a volleyball tournament at Irene-Wakonda on August 29.
Menno faces off against Scotland at 8:30am.
The second game is against Irene-Wakonda at 10:30am.

The Scotland/Menno Trappers will play in the Jamboree at Alcester-Hudson. The game is August 29 at 9am.

The Andes Central prom committee will be having a baked potato bar tailgate supper at the game starting at 5:30 pm.

MENNO — Centerville held off Menno 25-15, 25-16, 25-16 in prep volleyball action on Thursday night.
Centerville’s Izzy Eide had 15 kills and 10 digs. Clarice Kirk finished with 12 digs and five ace serves. Lydia Austin posted 11 digs and Chloe Edberg added 10 assists.
Kylie Guthmiller led Menno with 23 digs and three kills. Ervin Schrock ended with 15 digs. Ashlyn Derby posted 13 digs.
Both teams play in the “I Have A Dream” Tournament on Saturday in Irene.

Parents of cross country athletes will be honored between the middle and high school volleyball games that evening. Middle school games start at 4pm; there will be three matches.

Middle school starts at 4:00 with the 8th/7th grade team and then the 7th/6th will follow.
JV starts at 6:15 and varsity will follow.

Students in grades 6-12 are reminded to turn in their beginning of the school year forms (laptop agreement and/or payment, emergency contact, and FERPA) to Emily in the office. An email was sent to students missing forms this afternoon. Thank you.

MENNO — Alcester-Hudson claimed a 25-21, 25-18, 25-13 victory over Menno in the volleyball season opener for both squads.
Ayonna Schissel had six kills and Summer Carlson posted five kills for Alcester-Hudson. Sydney Keiser finished with 13 assists. Emily Winquist posted 22 digs and Skylar Hongslo added 12 digs in the victory.
Emmalyn Heckenlaible led Menno with seven kills. Bailey Neuharth posted nine assists and 16 digs. Kylie Guthmiller posted 12 digs and Ervin Schrock added 11 digs for the Wolves.
Alcester-Hudson hosts Dell Rapids St. Mary’s on Thursday. Menno hosts Centerville on Thursday.
