Friday night game report from the Yankton P&D. **Please note that the Trappers will play at Alcester-Hudson next Friday night at 6:00 pm. Avon 68, Scotland-Menno 14 MENNO — Avon’s Easton Sees rushed for 209 yards as the Pirates pounced on Scotland-Menno 68-14 in prep football action on Friday. Sees also completed two passes for 59 yards. Cale Cooper rushed for 78 yards and Al’Shamon Gunter had a 41-yard catch in the victory. Cooper led the Avon defense with six stops. Grayson Ratzlaff had five tackles. Jacob Ratzlaff had four tackles in the victory. Izayah Ulmer passed for 141 yards and two touchdowns for Scotland-Menno. Hunter Clark had six catches for 118 yards and two scores. Defensively for the Trappers, Erick Buechler had five tackles and an interception. Brockton Kocourek and Carter Fischer each had a hand in five stops. Jarret Andretta added four tackles. Both Avon (7-0) and Scotland-Menno (4-3) await the announcement of their final week opponent. Games will be played on Friday, Oct. 17.

Tonight is the 2025 Menno Homecoming Football Game! The Trappers will be taking on the Avon Pirates in tonight's match-up. A tailgate held by Menno's Post Prom will start at 6:00pm at the Jim Woehl Athletic Complex and Johnny Woehl Field. Kick-off will be at 7pm.
