Trapper Cheerleaders are looking for any old/unused Trapper T-shirs you want to get rid of! These will be used in a t-shirt quilt for raffle at a later date. If you have any shirts, you are willing to donate, please bring them to Ms. Sternhagen in Menno or to the office in Scotland!

The football meeting for parents & athletes in MS and HS has been moved to the main gym in Menno due to wet field conditions. The meeting will be held at 5:30 pm tonight (Aug. 6).

There are 2 weeks left in the Summer IXL Challenge! 56 students have started the challenge and 21 have completed it! Yearbooks are in! If you ordered one in the spring there are three ways you can get yours:

1. Pick it up during Open House on Tuesday August 19th from 5-7pm in Ms. Sternhagen's room.

2. Yearbooks will be handed out to students during the first week of school.

Senior Legion Baseball State B Tourney update: *credit to Yankton P&D sports online. Groton 16, SMFC 11 MILBANK — Groton outslugged the Scotland-Menno-Freeman-Canistota 79ers 16-11 in an elimination game in the South Dakota State Class B American Legion Baseball Tournament, Sunday in Milbank. Groton advances to an elimination game against Parkston today (Monday). Carter Simon was 4-for-5 with a home run, four RBIs and four runs scored for Groton. Korbin Kucker had three hits, including a triple and a double, three RBIs and three runs scored. Brevin Fliehs also had three hits, three RBIs and three runs scored. Braxton Imrie posted two hits. Gavin Englund doubled, and Nick Morris and Alex Abeln each had a hit in the victory. Kory Keppen had two hits and four RBIs for SMFC. Tayden Kerrigan and Rocky Ammann each doubled. Bryce Sattler, Riley Tschetter and Evan Scharberg each had a hit for the 79ers. Abeln pitched 5 2/3 innings in relief, striking out seven, for the win. Riley Tschetter took the loss, also in relief.
