During the final quarter of the school year, seventh grade students spend the last hour of each day in Mrs. Knodel’s classroom, where creativity takes center stage. So far, students have completed a variety of hands-on projects, including Book Nooks, punched canvas pictures, agamographs, and foil art. They are currently working on cross-stitch bunny designs using plastic canvas, continuing to build their artistic skills while enjoying a creative end to the school day.
The students will add water color painting, wood burning, jewelry making/suncatchers, and diamond dot paintings to their skill set by the end of the year. ""Hopefully, the students find something that they like to do as a hobby," said Mrs. Knodel. "It is amazing to see where their imaginations can take them."
