Menno Middle School Volleyball Camp Any girls that will be in grades 6-8 this school year are welcome to attend volleyball camp in Menno on July 31st. The camp is from 1:30 -3:30 and the cost is $35. Please contact Rachel Stokes if you have any questions at rachel.stokes@k12.sd.us

Here are the starting dates for the fall sports: Cheer starts Aug. 5, HS Football starts Aug. 8, MS Football starts Aug. 13, VB and CC start Aug. 15, and MS VB starts Aug. 19. Schedules will be coming out in the next few weeks. Athletes are reminded to complete their annual physical and turn in the forms to the office. Athletes must have a physical on file in order to practice.

Just a reminder about the Menno Volleyball Team Camp will be held on July 30 and 31. It is expected that all high school players attend this camp. Also don't forget to get your physical forms into the office and your concussion testing completed before August 15th.

Anyone in a Middle School or High School Math Class needs a Scientific Calculator! Ms. Lehr and Ms. Sternhagen recommend either a TI-30XIIS™ or Casio FX-300ES PLUS. Sway Concussion Testing conducted by Darred Nelson, Orthopedic Institute Athletic Trainer at Menno High School. **Required testing for athletes in grades 7-12 at Menno High School on August 6, 2024, in Room 440 (enter the building through the northwest door). This testing is required for any athlete in grades 7-12 and there is no cost to the student. We will need athletes to sign up for a time slot and arrive 5 minutes before your testing time. Athletes will need to plan about 45 minutes for the test. Each group will be a maximum of 15 students. Students will need their cell phone/tablet for the testing, if they don't have one, the school will provide a tablet, temporary access to Wi-Fi will be available. Athletes should download the Sway Medical app prior to arriving for testing. **Please review the Sway cheat sheet document that will be sent out via social media and on the school website. Come support the FFA Chapter and enjoy a meal after the Menno 4th of July parade! All FFA members should report to the Old Gym immediately after the parade ends.

Menno High School graduates of the class of 2014 may pick up their student files from the school office before July 12, 2024. Student files are kept for 10 years. If not picked up by the student, they are destroyed. A copy of the students’ transcript is kept on file forever. Any files of the class of 2014 not picked up by July 12, 2024 will be destroyed. School office hours for the summer are 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (closed July 4th and 5th).
