The middle school boy’s basketball games at Alcester have been canceled.
The high school basketball games at Alcester will be played as follows:
No JV girls game, boys JV at 3:15 (auxiliary gym); varsity girls at 3:30; and varsity boys around 4:45.
One bus--leaving Scotland at 1:00 pm and pick up Menno at 1:20.

The Scotland/Menno middle school boys basketball games have been cancelled for tomorrow at Alcester. We are still planning on playing the high school games at Alcester.. The Trappers JV boys game will start at 4:00, Varsity Girls at 5:15, and Varsity Boys at 6:30. The high school game times could possibly be adjusted .The high school teams will ride one bus, leaving at 1:40 pm from Scotland and 2:00 pm from Menno.

On December 19, we will have a dedication ceremony to honor Jim Sattler. The track in Menno will now be named the "Jim Sattler Track". We would like to invite former Menno football and track alumni and fans to this special occasion.
The ceremony will take place between the girls and boys varsity doubleheader games on Friday, Dec 19 vs Hanson.
The time frame for the dedication is estimated between 7:15 and 7:45 depending on the games.

Due to current and forecasted icy weather conditions, Menno School District will be dismissing students at 11:30am today. All students will eat lunch, and the buses will run their PM route.
The Trappers home opener is tonight in Scotland! JV games will start at 5pm (boys in main gym, girls in auxiliary gym), Varsity Girls at 6:15pm, and Varsity Boys at 7:45pm. Good luck tonight Trappers as you take on the TDA Nighthawks!

Congratulations to the Menno High School Radio Quiz Bowl team for qualifying to the finals of the Q107 Radio Quiz Bowl! The team currently stands 4-0 in the double elimination tournament. They will be in Mitchell on January 10 and will first compete against the team from Parker. The Menno team consists of Carter Fischer, Brayden Kludt, Zain Kishbaugh, Jaxon Stoebner, and Sam Andersen
Due to the weather forecast for tonight (high wind warning, precipitation) we will be postponing tonight’s GBB game at Emery. The game has been postponed to Jan. 19 and will be a doubleheader game with the boys.
Also, school policy states that if we cancel a game then all after school activities are also cancelled. There will not be Cheer, MS BBB, HS BBB, Wrestling or grade school practices after school on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
Santa and his Crew mad an appearance all over the school today! We are having a holly jolly time this Angel Tree Week - and gifts are starting to roll into the Angel Tree! Please have your gifts turned in by tomorrow so that they can get wrapped and delivered on Friday!
