Viborg-Hurley 65, Scotland-Menno 24
MENNO — The Viborg-Hurley Cougars defeated the Scotland-Menno trappers in a decisive 65-24 victory in prep boys’ basketball action on Tuesday.
For the Cougars, Brady Schroedermeier recorded 29 points. Nolan Kolthoff finished with 12 points.
For the Trappers, Hunter Yosten totaled seven points and six rebounds. Jarret Andretta tallied five points.
Viborg-Hurley, 16-3, travels to face Howard on Thursday. Scotland-Menno, 5-13, hosts Parker-Marion on Thursday.
MENNO — The Viborg-Hurley Cougars took down the Scotland-Menno Trappers, 36-29, in prep girls’ basketball action on Tuesday.
For the Cougars, Tatum Lyons totaled 12 points. Olivia Hansen tallied 10 points.
For the Trappers, Lexie McNinch finished with 12 points and nine rebounds. Hope Starwalt recorded 10 points.
Viborg-Hurley, 8-11, travels to play Howard on Thursday. Scotland-Menno, 3-16, hosts Parker-Marion on Thursday.

Scotland-Menno 48, Gregory 45
GREGORY — The Scotland-Menno Trappers battled to grab a 48-45 victory over the Gregory Gorillas in prep boys’ basketball action on Friday.
For the Trappers, Izayah Ulmer totaled 10 points. Hunter Clark tallied nine points.
For the Gorillas, Landon Keiser finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Jacob Klein recorded 12 points. Lincoln Juracek totaled 10 points.
Scotland-Menno, 5-12, plays Viborg-Hurley on Tuesday at Menno. Gregory, 6-10, travels to Mitchell to face McCook Central-Montrose in the DWU Culver’s Classic today (Saturday).
The Trapper Girls Varsity Basketball Team head to Bonesteel today for the Great Plains Conference Classic! The will play the Burke Cougars at 5:30pm. Good luck tonight Trappers!

We had a fantastic Title I Family Night! Valentine's Candy Math, Crafts, and Cookie Decorating with elementary teachers, students, and families. Thank you to Mrs. Hohn and the elementary teachers for organizing this event!
