
SENIORS: Southeastern Electric Cooperative is again sponsoring a scholarship program for 2022. The guidelines have remained the same as last year’s program. Southeastern Electric will award five $1,000 scholarships and five $500 scholarships to dependents of a cooperative’s member/consumer. The information can be found on the Counselor’s Corner and the deadline is February 4, 2022.

Angel Tree Week is next week December 13th-17th! To promote the week, we will have the following dress-up days next week:

Thursday – Ugly Sweater Day (wear it to the basketball game that night too!)
Friday – Christmas Movie Character Day
The tree is already set-up in the Free Study Area with wanted gift tags hanging on the tree. If you would like to donate, go to the tree, take a tag off the tree, get the indicated gift on the tag, and return the tag with the gift underneath the tree. Some “angels” have already returned gifts! Thank you to all who have/will donate gifts to benefit children in the Menno area!

Good luck to the Oral Interp students who will be participating in the South Dakota Oral Interp Festival in Huron this weekend. These students include Salome and Kaelie in individual events and the readers’ theater team of Salome, Isabella, Chandler, Josephine, Kaelie, and Lexie H.

There will be no Pre School classes in Menno starting Thursday, Dec. 2 through Thursday, Dec. 9.

There is a change in the JH basketball schedule for Thursday, Dec. 2. We will NOT be having the 6-8 grade boys games tomorrow in Menno. The JH girls games will start at 4:00 with the 6th/7th grade game and then the 8th grade game will follow. Games will be held in the new gym and will be on Wolves LiveTicket at http://wolves.liveticket.tv/
Post Prom will have concessions available.
