The National Honor Society will be sponsoring a Coffee, Cappuccino, and Hot Chocolate Bar Fundraiser on Wednesday November 3rd from 7:50am – 8:15am in the Old Gym during breakfast. K-12 students, staff, and teachers are invited to come and support NHS. All drinks will be $3.

Caring Rose Week will be observed on Friday, November 5 and Monday through Thursday, November 8 to 11. For $10 plus two non-perishable food items, you can buy one dozen roses. Deadline for pre-ordering is Tuesday, November 2. Order forms were sent home with preschool through fifth grade on October 21. Other students and adults can use the attached form or pick up an order form from the FCCLA bulletin board
There will be a wrestling meeting on Nov. 1, Monday morning at 8:15 for anyone interested in wrestling this season. Meeting will be held in the old gym on the stage. Coach Sayler from Freeman will be here to meet with girls and boys in grades 7-12.
A reminder to students that if you are leaving throughout the day - especially those at the end of the day that have free study - you MUST sign out in the office. And you cannot have someone else sign out for you, it must be signed in your own handwriting. This means that we should not have kids leaving out the new gym doors after 6th hour. Yesterday was the State Cross County Meet at Yankton Trails Park in Sioux Falls. Kadeyn and Ashton competed. Kadeyn had a good race placing 59th in a time of 20:15. Although the race was a struggle for Ashton, she showed strength in completing the race in 108th, despite adversity. I'm very honored to be able to work with two really great young people.
