This is Teacher Appreciation week. Did you know that when they’re not teaching, many teachers are taking classes of their own? Nearly 60% of teachers have a postgraduate degree—in order to advance their careers, additional education usually is required. And unlike training in the corporate world, this is done on the teachers’ own time (and often on their own dime). These classes are usually what teacher’s do in the summer, but some teachers do this throughout the school year as well.
Congratulations to Ashton Massey who was a triple winner at Freeman yesterday in hurdles (:16:74), 300 M hurdles (:49:62) and triple jump (32:1). Congrats also to Raygen Diede who captured both the discus (120-5) and shot put (37-9.50).
