Any students in grades 8-11 interested in participating in girls and boys basketball next year, please sign up in the office. There will be a meeting on Thursday, May 2 at Scotland at 2:45. The bus will leave at 2:20 and we should return by 3:45/4:00.
Please note that ALL LIBRARY BOOKS are due May 1. Please check desks, lockers, backpacks and your home and return any remaining library books this week in order for us to begin taking inventory. FCCLA inducted members and gave out awards this evening! Special thanks to Ms. Lau, Mrs. Stoebner, and Mrs. Fischer for giving their time and talents to support these students this year.

Menno School District will partner with Angela Griebel, a certified SD Driver’s Ed Instructor, to offer Driver Education for students in the classroom June 3rd through June 7th 2024. The summer driving hours will be in June and July. Students who are 14 years of age or older on or before January 1, 2025, will be eligible to take this course. The cost is $300 for Menno Students. Pick up your forms in the office.
Cross Country Meeting for those interested in going out next school year - Wednesday, May 1 @ 12:55-1:00 in the 3rd grade room.
Any student in grades 8-11 who is interested in football cheer or basketball cheer next year should talk to Ms. Sternhagen sometime this week. There will be a meeting on Monday April 29th from 12:50-1:00 (note change) to discuss tryouts, fundraising, and next year’s season.
The FCCLA awards night will be held in the old gym tonight at 7:00 PM. We welcome the FCCLA family members to join us. Refreshments will be provided.

To say, I was impressed by our students and guests last night is an understatement. Menno has some of the best students any school could ask for. Their respect and responsibility the whole evening was outstanding. To watch them interact with the residents at the Care Center and take pictures with them was wonderful. The parents of the prom attendees should be very proud. Thanks for a great evening. I was blessed to be one of this year's prom advisers. Trishia Fischer.
