Great day at the conference meet! Ashton Massey won the varsity division and 12 others placed in their races!





There will be a Trapper Football Tailgate this Friday night at Scotland from 6-7 pm. Burgers and hot dogs on the grill and a bottle of water. Freewill donation. Menno 3, Viborg-Hurley 0
MENNO –– Menno came away with the 25-17, 25-16, 25-10 win over Viborg-Hurley on Tuesday evening in girls’ high school volleyball.
Ashton Massey helped get Menno on top with 10 kills, two blocks, and one assist in the contest. The Wolves’ attack was also led by Taylor Freier’s 14 digs, eight kills, and two service aces. Joslynn Fischer led the team in assists with 19, and had 11 digs, and two service aces.
Viborg-Hurley had two players get double-digits in digs. Charley Nelson led with 20 digs, while Aubree Schwartz followed with 18. Schwartz led the team in kills, getting two on the night.
Menno’s record improves to 6-8, and will host Freeman on Thursday for their next game.
Viborg-Hurley’s record is now 2-10 on the season. The team host’s Howard on Thursday for their next game. The Cougars defeated Howard earlier in the season 2-0.
Menno won the B-Match 24-26, 25-13, 15-10. Viborg-Hurley took the C-Match 25-9, 10-25, 15-11.

Announcements:
FRIDAY, Sept 22 – JV/Varsity FB players, cheerleaders, and statisticians who are not in band will leave on a bus at 12:30 to head to Scotland’s Homecoming parade/pep rally. Students going will eat MS lunch that day.
FFA members interested in going to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis need to talk to Ms. Haberman and sign up no later than September 26th .
