The FFA Chapter is selling MinnTex Fruit, Cheeses, Meats, and Nuts for another week and a half. Sale ends Sunday November 12th. Kindergarten learned a card game called "Compare". You may know it as the classic card game WAR. Fun and Learning!!
Menno Middle School students were able to be a part of the Moon Murder Mystery as presented by the South Dakota Discovery Center on Monday, October 30th.
The murder mystery gave students the chance to complete a variety of tasks on an artificial moon base. Some of the tasks included sample testing, map reading, and generating oxygen through electrolysis.
"It was a really good murder mystery," exclaimed Tommy. "
"It was experimental," said Ava.
"It was a little stressful wondering if you were going to be the next person to die," said Jeremiah.

Menno Elementary participated in Jumpstart's Read for the Record listening to With Lots of Love by Jenny Torres Sanchez. Over 2 million students participated last year! Fun to be part of this event!!
The FFA Officer team did honey bee lessons and provided honey snacks to the elementary classes this week for "Ag in the Classroom"
School will be dismissed early on Thursday, Oct. 26 at 2:00pm. Parent/Teacher conferences will be held from 2:30-8:00 pm. No school on October 27.

EXCITING NEWS regarding ACT Testing! Menno High School will be offering paper ACT testing at our school, during a school day, beginning in the Spring. As soon our Spring date is available it will be posted in the announcements. The ACT will be offered to any Sophomores, Junior or Seniors that are interested and it will cost the student less than going elsewhere for testing. Menno School will be offering the ACT one time in the Fall and one time in the Spring. More information to come.
For National HOSA Week, The Menno HOSA Chapter is collecting medical equipment for Owen's Outfitters in Sioux Falls. If you have any donations, they can be dropped off at the school anytime between November 6th-10th.
