We are in need of someone to be a marker for the State B Girls Golf Tourney this Monday and Tuesday in Brookings. A marker keeps the golfers' scores and make sure they're staying honest. They ride in a golf cart, and the girls come to them with their scores. If interested, email jacque.liebl@k12.sd.us. Thanks.
The Trappers lost a tough one to Castlewood 5-3 today at the state softball tourney. They will play for 3rd place on Saturday at 3:00 pm.

Congratulations to the Scotland/Menno Trappers softball team on their opening round win over Gayville-Volin 12-8 at the State B Tourney.
Trappers score three in the top of the 7th to lead 12-8. Let's go Trappers!! Some great base running brought in some runs.
Trappers lead 9-8 bottom of the 6th. GV is the home team.
Trappers 8. GV 6. Top of 5th. A few rain showers but the girls are fired up and full of momentum.
The Trappers lead GV 5-1 in the bottom of the third inning in the first round of the State B Tourney.

The Scotland/Menno Trappers Softball team pose with Jo Auch, Asst Executive Director for the SDHSAA at the state tourney in Aberdeen. Jo is originally from Scotland and taught over 25 years in Menno and will retire this summer. Thanks Jo for playing a vital role in SD athletics.
