Tonight the Trappers take on the the Platte-Geddes Panthers in Scotland!

It is Military Appreciation Night! All veteran and active duty military personnel can get into the games for free and be recognized before the Varsity Boys Game. There will be coffee and treats in the Community Room starting at 5:30 for current and past military members and their spouses.

It is also Live Like Cindy Day! Wear your Live Like Cindy shirts to the game or a gray shirt in support of the Schlimgen family!

The 40th Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) on February 4, 2026, features the theme “Lead Her Forward”. This theme celebrates the power of sports to build confidence, strength, and leadership, highlighting the achievements of female athletes, coaches, and leaders while pushing the game forward for future generations. Menno will have this celebration on Feb. 17 before the start of the girls varsity game.

Due to late start no breakfast will be served.

Due to the late start, the seniors will NOT be going to Pierre today. We will reschedule to a later date.

Due to the 2-hour late start, the Senior Trip to Pierre is postponed. No Quiz Bowl Practice this morning.

This week's Senior Spotlight!

Both Girls and Boys Region Basketball Pep Rallies will be held on Tuesday February 24th at 2pm in the Scotland Main Gym!

Menno 6th-12th Graders will be bussed over to attend. It is welcome for all to come and root on our Trappers in their post seasons!

Trappers BBB game report from last night via the Yankton P&D online. The Trappers lost a heartbreaker at the buzzer. Wagner Boys Outlast Scotland-Menno WAGNER — The Wagner Red Raiders overcame a 21-point performance by Scotland-Menno’s Hunter Clark to claim a 57-56 victory over the Trappers in boys’ basketball action on Thursday. Ky Arpan led a balanced Wagner attack with 16 points and eight rebounds. Carlos Galindo and Cruise Koupal each had 14 points, with Koupal also grabbing 12 rebounds. Jesse Zephier finished with 11 points and Leon Fields added three steals in the victory. Clark hit 5-of-8 from three-point range to spark the Trappers. Erick Buechler scored 10 points. Micah Goehring had eight points and seven rebounds. Jarrett Andretta added four assists and three steals in the effort. Wagner, 11-2, travels to Hanson on Tuesday. Scotland-Menno hosts Avon on Tuesday.

First graders celebrated the 100th day by sharing and counting their 100 items they brought from home. They also created 100th day sunglasses and had to count out their snack for today. Yep! You guessed it! 100 items counted out for their snack today

The 3rd, 4th, and 5th Graders celebrated National Puzzle Day and the 100th Day of School by doing several 100 piece puzzles! 🧩 💯

The S/M Trappers 4th and 5th grade girls will be participating in the Bon Homme Basketball tourney in Tyndall on Sunday, Feb. 1 Go Trappers!
