Due to low numbers and injuries for Gayville-Volin, we will not be able to play a middle school boys basketball game at Menno on January 7. The game will not be rescheduled.

Ethan 61, Scotland-Menno 45
MENNO — Jack Bartscher scored 20 points to lead Ethan past Scotland-Menno 61-45 in boys’ basketball action on Friday.
Davin Hohn and Jaxx Kurtenbach each had 10 points in the victory.
Trent Guthmiller led Scotland-Menno with 13 points. Eric Buechler had nine rebounds for the Trappers.
Ethan, 3-1, plays Wilmot in the “America’s Hometown Classic” today (Saturday) in Madison. Scotland-Menno, 1-3, travels to Montrose to face McCook Central-Montrose on Tuesday.

It is Parents Night! The Girls Basketball team will be announced after the JV game in the main gym. The Boys Basketball team and Cheerleaders will be introduced after the completion of the varsity GBB game.
Tonight the Trappers will take on the Rustlers in a Double Header Basketball Match in Menno! Both JV Teams will play at 5:00pm with Girls in the New gym and Boys in the Old gym. Varsity Girls will play at 6:15pm in the New Gym and Boys will play at 7:45pm in the New Gym. Good luck Trappers!

Play practice is tomorrow from 10-12! This is a change from the schedule. All cast and crew should be there. Following rehearsal, we will work on props.

The eighth grade English class presented their gingerbread houses and descriptive writing today. When the votes were tallied, Emma, Leah, and Ava were the winners.

On this Wednesday before break, we're shinning a spotlight on our new School Psychologist, Mrs. Prendable - or Dependable Prendable, as some may know her.
