In an effort to help shine some light on our amazing staff, we're planning to put together a series of "Staff Spotlight" posts. First up is middle school math extraordinaire, Ms. Lehr. The high school girls basketball team will be having a basket raffle at the home opener, Tuesday, December 10th. Baskets donated by Flowers & More, Menno Lumber, Total Stop and the Trapper Booster Club will be on display that evening starting at 5:45. Tickets will be $1 each or 6 for $5. Winners will be announced during halftime of the varsity game.

On Wednesday, Dec 11th, Grades K, 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, and 10 will have the annual free health screening. 8th grade screening will be boys only. If you would like to decline services for your child(ren), please contact the office prior to the screening date.

November's elementary awards were handed out this morning, and we have a pretty impressive list of winners!
Character Counts winners from November did a great job exhibiting the trait of "honesty." They were: Nora M. (PK), Callie F. (K), Katelyn Q. (1st), Skyler Y. (2nd), Sylis H. (3rd), Quinn H. (4th), and Taralyn G. (5th).

The Trapper 8th grade boys lose a heartbreaker 30-31 to the Bearcats.
The Trapper 7th grade boys were defeated 9-38 to the FA/M Bearcats.
The Scotland/Menno Trappers 7th and 8th girls lost to Freeman Academy/Marion 6-25 today in Menno.
**Change for today----The Trappers Middle School basketball games will now be played in the main gym today in Menno. Games start at 4:00 with the 7th&8th girls and followed by 7th boys and 8th boys. Go TRAPPERS!

Paper Ornaments with wanted gifts are located in the front office. Each Paper Ornament will have a wanted gift written on it. Take an ornament and return it with the unwrapped, indicated gift. Please return all gifts to the tree in the free study area by December 11th.
We will have dress-up days next week to promote the event. Monday is Holiday Pajama Day, Tuesday is Ugly Sweater day, Wednesday is Christmas Character Day, Thursday is Awkward Family Photos Day, and Friday is Christmas Vacation Day!
