Coming this fall....................

Scotland Golf Club will be hosting a junior golf clinic on Mon and Tues.
June 21 and 22. The clinic will be conducted by Corallee Jorgenson from the S.D. First Tee program. There will be two sessions on both days. Ages 8-12 will be from 9-10:15 am and ages 13-17 will be from 10.30 to 11.45 am on both days. Cost is $20 per golfer. Please register as soon as possible as class size will be limited. Register

IXL Challenge Update
At the 30 day mark of our Summer IXL Challenge 6 kids have already made it over 30 completed skills!! They are Kyra M., Kora F., Adrian Y., Helena J., Henrik J., and Callie H. There are also several that are very close! 50 kids have joined the challenge! The students are doing amazing at keeping their skills sharp over the summer!

The Menno FFA is selling Chapter apparel to any FFA members or supporters that would like them. Members and supporters have the choice between t-shirts, long sleeves, crew-neck sweatshirts, and hoodies. Orders are due by Friday, June 11th.

Congratulations to Treyton Sayler and Dawson Bietz of the Scotland/Menno Trappers on being named All Region for the 2021 baseball season! Very well deserved for both players, who are now the first award winners in program history.

The PK-8 Grade students are off to a great start with the IXL Summer Challenge and 33 students have joined the challenge so far! Students should complete 30 grade level skills this summer to be able to attend a party in the fall. If you need login help contact your child's teacher.

Congrats to the Menno Girls track team for placing 3rd overall at the state meet. Best finish ever. Very proud of all the kids and coaches. Seniors—you will be missed and thanks for all your hard work and dedication.

Congratulations to Morgan Edelman for placing 3rd in the 800 meter run at the State B Track Meet.

Congrats to sophomore Owen Eitemiller as he is the State B Champion in pole vault.

Boys results from Yankton paper:
Brady Fergen tied for third in the pole vault (12-3), tied for seventh in the high jump (5-9) and placed 11th in the 110 hurdles Friday. Owen Eitemiller won the pole vault at 13-3 and placed 16th in the 110 hurdles. Isaac Fergen placed in a tie for 11th in the pole vault and Tyler Massey 15th in the triple jump.

The Menno girls picked up two third place finishes Friday, as well as a win in the discus. Raygen Diede competed in the discus throw. Jesse Munkvold placed third in the 100-meter hurdles (16.18 seconds) and Morgan Edelman tied for third in the pole vault (8-9).
Ashton Massey placed 10th in the girls’ 100 hurdles and Alana Fergen XX in the discus. The girls 4x800 team placed 22nd.

The bus is ready to hit the road with the track team. Good luck team and coaches at the State B Meet in Rapid City.

Good luck to the Menno Wolves boys and girls track team as they head out to Rapid City tomorrow morning at 9 AM for the state meet. We will be taking a bus out to the Hills with our largest group ever. Give your best effort in all that you do. Go Wolves!
