Kindergarten visited the Menno Fire Dept for Fire Safety week. Thank you to Firefighter Ben and Firefighter Anthony for showing us the trucks and gear.
There will be no school on Friday, October 8. This is a work day for staff to assist with the Menno Band Day. The parade starts at 10:00 am. We have 21 bands marching. Please come out and support the bands. Thank you.
Menno Band Day will be tomorrow Oct. 8 starting at 10:00 am with the bands marching down main street. We have 21 bands performing. After the main street parade, there will be a drumline performance out at the Jim Woehl Athletic Complex around 12:30 pm. The Music Boosters will have a concession stand at the complex. The public is welcome.
Please come out and support the volleyball team tonight as they take on the Gayville-Volin Raiders and wear pink for our Pink Out Night! JV starts at 6:15 with varsity to follow.
Today is Pledge Day for National Yearbook week. The yearbook staff is going to make sure that every student is covered in the yearbook.

Today, we inducted 11 new members into the National Honor Society and celebrated with a breakfast pizza party! Congratulations new members, we are looking forward to a good year!

PK-5 found some new sensory stickers around Menno Elementary today. There are a number of different activities going up around school that are aimed at utilizing movements in the hallways to improve cognition and coordination. Plus it’s fun to watch them hop around like frogs!




The Tripp-Delmont Booster Club will have a tailgate event on Friday, Oct 8 at the football field. Burger, chips, cookie and water $6.00 from 5:30-7:00 pm
SENIORS and SENIOR PARENTS: Don’t forget the night to apply for Financial Aid for college is this Wednesday night in Scotland at 5pm. We will have representatives from Mount Marty to help walk us through the FAFSA process. The student and the parent must have a FSA ID BEFORE Wednesday night, also see the attachment for the items you NEED TO BRING with you Wednesday. Scotland’s After Prom will be having a tailgate fundraiser for tonight’s game.
They will start serving at 5:00 p.m. and will have a meal deal of pork sandwich, coleslaw, chips, bar and water for $8.00 or add another sandwich for $10.00. They will also have regular concession food, too. This will be served at the concession stand (located under the south side of the stadium).
