The high school track team will NOT be attending the Avon Invite today due to the weather. There will be track practice after school for grades 6-12.

Thank you to all the students, staff and community members for helping out at the Menno Relays yesterday. Congrats to the athletes on your performances. It wasn’t an ideal weather day but we made it through. The meet lasted longer than scheduled due to using a new program required by the state but we survived and will do better next time. Thank you to the music boosters for the amazing concession stand. Many compliments were heard about the items you were selling. We couldn’t pull this off without all of your help. It is appreciated.

Students will NOT be allowed to drive to the track field. All cars must remain parked at the school. Please do not take your vehicle to the track field ahead of time. No scooters, bicycles, golf carts, or motor bikes will be allowed. This applies to free study students as well as all other students.
Students must stay at the track complex all day and may not leave until 2:45 to head back to school. Students are expected to work at their designated areas and support the track team. Students not behaving will be sent back to school.

ALL other students will be dismissed at 9:00. Teachers, please report any absences to the office and take a lunch count.
At 9:00, teachers will walk with students to the track field. Students and staff should report to their assigned work area when they get to the track complex. Feel free to help out in other areas as needed. Students are expected to be in school on Thursday. We need your help to run this meet. If students are not going to be in school, please let the office know a day ahead of time. If you need to leave the track meet after your work shift, please bring a note to the office and/or talk to Mr. Rice, Mr. Foss or Mrs. Wek.
School lunch (sub sandwiches) will be served at the track field from 11:45-1:15 by the football shed area in the northwest area of the track complex. Students may choose to bring money for the concession stand also. The Menno Music Boosters will operate the concession stand.
Students in grades 6-12 who need to get back to the school to ride the bus home are to meet at the track field gate at 2:45 to load Mr. Sattler’s bus. There will be an announcement over the loud speaker. The work list is posted by the water fountain, lunch counter, and the new gym hallway. Teachers, please check your email and review it with the students in class. Some students may have more than one job so please look over the entire list.
