
The Trappers vs Freeman/Canistota/Marion baseball game that was postponed yesterday has been rescheduled for Friday April 26, at 5:30 in Menno. Varsity followed by JV.

Spring Sports pictures are this week Wednesday April 10th starting at 1pm. The schedule is as follows. Students/Parents will be able to order pictures online once picture proofs have come in.

Due to the forecast for this afternoon and evening, the Trapper baseball games against Freeman/Canistota/Marion today in Menno are postponed. A makeup date will be announced when set.


The Trapper Golf team had 2 girls compete at the Class B Classic today in Mitchell. Kailin Odens shot a 104 and Ayla Rokusek shot a 110. Both scores are personal bests for the girls at that course. Go Trappers!!

Due to a scheduling error by Beresford, the Scotland/Menno Trappers Softball team will not be participating in their tourney on May 4.

The elementary gave out some student awards today for excellence during the month of March! Our Character Counts winners did a fantastic job displaying the trait of "fairness." They were - Everleigh M., Jack M., Charlotte F., Ajay J., Quinn H., Taralyn G., and Sawyer F.
Super Readers were - Asa R., Emery S., Skyler Y., Tucker H., Cassidy T., Sage N., and Ava K.
The Menno Elementary Student of the Month was the very excited Ms. Amelia H. Way to go everyone!




Congratulations to the Menno band and choir on their performances at Large Group Contest today! The choir earned an Excellent rating and the band earned a Superior rating.

Junior, Eli Soukup won a $1,000 scholarship at Lake Area Technical College's Junior
Tech Day today. Congratulations Eli!


The MS (Burke) and JV (Gregory) golf meets scheduled for next Tuesday April 9th have been moved to Friday April 12 starting at 10:00 am. The courses need a little more time to get ready for golf play.

Good luck to the band and vocal students as they compete in Vermillion today for the large group contest.

The Menno National Honor Society will be hosting their Annual Blood Drive on Wednesday May 1st, 2024 from 12:45pm - 6:00pm in the New Gym. This is partnered with Vitalant. SENIORS - If you have not turned in a Senior Picture to Ms. Sternhagen, you need to do this AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!! Jeremy from the paper called and needs these photos by THIS Friday April 5th. Parents of students in Grades 3-5: This Wednesday and Thursday morning your students will be taking the English portions of state testing beginning at 8:30am. Please have them get a good night’s sleep and a good breakfast. Thank you for your help with preparing your students for state testing.
Parents of 5th graders: Along with state testing on Wednesday and Thursday the 5th graders will be taking the Science portion of the state test on Friday morning beginning at 8:30am.
