CORSICA, S.D. — Waylon Bolle accounted for three of Corsica-Stickney’s four touchdowns for the game, helping the Class 9B No. 3-ranked Jaguars take down Scotland/Menno on Friday.
Bolle ran for 166 yards on 27 carries, scoring two touchdowns. He also tossed a nine-yard touchdown pass to Caden Baumiller in the fourth quarter. Baumiller finished with nine carries for 50 yards and a touchdown, and Tate Tolsma had 30 yards rushing on eight carries and a score.
Scotland/Menno’s Izayah Ulmer finished 10-of-23 for 131 yards with two touchdowns, also picking up 25 rushing yards on 12 carries.
Corsica-Stickney (2-0) hosts Tripp-Delmont/Armour/Andes Central/Dakota Christian on Friday, Sept. 6. Scotland/Menno (1-1) returns home to face off against Bon Homme on Friday, Sept. 6, in Scotland.


There will NOT be a JV football game at Corsica on Tuesday, Sept 3 due to injuries and low numbers for them. We will still play a middle school game at 4:00.

MENNO — The Menno Wolves outlasted Centerville 20-25, 25-22, 25-17, 12-25, 15-4 in prep volleyball action on Thursday.
Lexie McNinch had 14 kills and five blocks for Menno. Joslynn Fischer posted 23 assists and three ace serves. Amanda Rames finished with six kills and five blocks. Nora Robb posted six kills, three blocks, 10 assists and 12 digs. Ellyana Ulmer had 31 digs, Haylee Hall had 16 digs and Taylor Freier added 14 digs in the victory.
Emma Marshall posted 11 kills and eight digs for Centerville. Lillee Shearer had eight kills. Keira Austin finished with 21 assists. Harper Wattier added 26 digs for the Tornadoes.
Menno, 2-0, travels to Tripp to face Tripp-Delmont-Armour on Tuesday. Centerville, 1-1, faces Flandreau Indian on Tuesday at home.

No school on Monday, Sept. 2 for Labor Day. Have a great weekend.

Each grade will be given a picture scavenger hunt list to complete around the school. Each picture task will have a corresponding point value based on difficulty. The picture must contain ALL members of the class to earn the points. Pictures will be emailed to Mrs. Sherard and tallied up. The grade with the highest total points at the end of the hour wins.
