Trinity Bietz drove in four runs on two hits to lead Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025 past Hanson 13-7 on Monday. Trinity Bietz doubled in the second inning, scoring two runs, and tripled in the third inning, scoring two.
Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025 scored seven runs in the third inning on the way to victory. Samantha Allvin drew a walk, scoring one run, Nora Robb singled, scoring two runs, Trinity Bietz tripled, scoring two runs, and Kylie Guthmiller homered to left field, scoring two runs.
Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025 jumped out to the lead in the top of the second inning after Kimmy Kubal doubled, scoring two runs, Samantha Allvin grounded out, scoring one run, Trinity Bietz doubled, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run.
Kylie Guthmiller earned the win for Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025. The starting pitcher allowed eight hits and seven runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking eight. O Kayser took the loss for Hanson. The pitcher went seven innings, giving up 13 runs (12 earned) on 10 hits, striking out seven and walking five.
Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025 collected 10 hits in the game. Trinity Bietz, Ervin Schrock, and Kimmy Kubal each collected two hits for Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025. Kyliah Bjorum paced Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025 with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying five walks for the game. Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025 turned one double play in the game.
O Kayser drove the middle of the lineup, leading Hanson with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. O Kayser, D Jarding, and J Schoenrock each collected two hits for Hanson. Neecee Suber paced Hanson with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game.
Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025 play at home on Monday against Parkston in their next game.

The Varsity Trapper Golf Teams traveled to Burke (girls) and Platte (boys) today for an 18 holes of competition in some hot weather. Overall it was a rougher day for both the girls and boys golf teams. Evie Foss managed to be the lone place finisher today, bringing home 8th place in the girls division. Congrats Evie!!!
The Trappers travel to Tyndall and Springfield next Friday!

This afternoon we practiced subtraction by putting sheep in Mr. Schmuck's Jeep!

This morning we handed out our final Elementary awards of the year. The Character Counts winners for April did a fantastic displaying the trait of "Citizenship."
