
6th/7th grade VB tourney results from Saturday at Armour
Menno went 2 for 3 at our tournament in Armour! We beat Irene-Wakonda in 2, lost in 2 to Platte Geddes, and beat TDA in 2. They did a fantastic job!

Congrats to the Menno Wolves Marching Band on their performance at the Missouri Valley Marching Festival today in Platte. The band placed 3rd out of 6 bands! Next Friday, the band will compete at the Watchdog Marching Festival in Beresford. Good luck and go Wolves!



JUNIORS: You will be attending a College and Career Fair on Monday, Sept. 23 in Mitchell. We will leave at 8:05 and return for lunch. If you are not at the school by 8:05 you will have to attend school instead. Please be on time and bring your phone, you will need it for certain booths.
Students who would like to be an FFA member for this school year need to pay Ms. Haberman $15 for membership dues by Wednesday September 25th .
Reminder that next Friday, Sept 27th, we have early dismissal at 1:00. Band kids coming back from competition will need to have a ride home.

JUNIORS and SENIORS: ALL JOB SHADOW and COLLEGE RELATED VISITS need to be pre-approved through Mrs. Fischer and there needs to be a signed make up slip turned in before the event. These need to be scheduled ahead of time and approved or you will be counted as unexcused for attendance. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Fischer.
All Free Study and Dual Credit Students should be checking in with Mrs. Fischer for attendance every day. The attendance sheet is located in her front office on the table by the printer. If you are not marking yourself present you will be marked with an unexcused absence.

Tonight the Scotland/Menno Trappers travel to Burke to take on the Cougars in a varsity football game! Kickoff is at 7pm. There is a free will donation tailgate at 5:15pm in the Burke City Park, and will be serving taverns, mac and cheese, chips, and dessert.

Picture Retake Day is Monday October 7th right away in the morning! Anyone not present the original picture day or wanting a retake can get their photos done at that time. You can find information on ordering at www.marksphotoimages.com or call 1-605-724-2559.
Mark's Retake Policy: If you are not satisfied with your portrait a second sitting can be done on make-up day. There is an $8 fee for retakes related to issues such as hair, facial blemishes, clothing and smiles. There is no retake fee for photographs that are defective or due to photography error. Students need to return their original photo order (along with $8 fee if applicable) on photo make-up day in order to receive the new photos.

Volleyball report from the Yankton P and D online

MENNO — The Menno Wolves defeated the Howard Tigers in sweeping fashion, 25-19, 25-12, and 25-14, on Tuesday evening in Menno.
Nora Robb propelled the Wolves with five kills and 12 digs, while Joslynn Fischer finished with 10 assists.
For Howard, Reese Rudebusch tallied 16 assists and five digs in the Tuesday night loss.
Menno advanced to 7-3 on the season. The Tigers fell to 1-6. Both teams travel to the Bridgewater-Emery Tournament on Saturday.

Today the Menno Cross Country team travels to the Freeman Golf Course for the Flyer Invite! Running starts at 2:30pm. Help us wish our Wolves good luck!
