Things go a little...... awkward today. Just kidding! We are dressed up to take some Awkward Family Photos with our Wolves Family! Congrats to the Freshmen for earning themselves some candy canes!

This fall we began a mentoring program between the high school seniors and students in 2nd-5th grade. The program grew to include 43 elementary students and 20 seniors by the end of the semester. These students met once a week to connect and spend time together. This was looked forward to by everyone involved. To celebrate the program’s success, the seniors hosted a Christmas party for their mentees for the last meeting of the semester. Elementary students received hand-picked gifts, everyone participated in a gingerbread house competition, and many bingo prizes were awarded. We appreciate everyone that has helped to make this mentorship possible, especially the seniors. The Class of 2025 has been amazing in their role as mentors, and we look forward to it continuing into the Spring Semester.

Happy Week-Before-Break from our awesome middle school elves.....er, teachers!

1st and 5th graders visited the Care Center yesterday. They made a poinsettia craft with the residents and enjoyed some piano music played by our talented Emily Sayler.

These Characters are sure getting into the Christmas Spirit! Congrats to the Pre-Schoolers and 5th Graders for adding a little extra character today!

We're shining a little light on our high school science teacher today! Mr. Schumuck has taught in Menno for 17 years, enjoys lasagna, lives by the Golden Rule, is a bit of a history buff, and isn't overly confident in his ability to survive a zombie apocalypse. Thank you for all the amazing things you've done and continue to do for our school, Mr. Schmuck!

For tonight's home girls basketball matchup with Bridgewater-Emery, LiveTicket will set up to stream both games. However, the building is undergoing a major overhaul to its internet system over the next several days, so it's uncertain what service will be at the time of the games. If we're not able to stream the contests, we apologize for any inconvenience.

The Class of 2031 gave a great performance tonight for the elementary program.

Today's spotlight shines on Menno's newest teacher, Mr. Schlimgen! The districts resident history expert enjoys basketball, homemade meatballs, and belting out good 80's and 90's tunes in the car. Thank you for your commitment to our students and school, Mr. Schlimgen!

These Wolves are staying nice and cozy today as we kick off our Angel Tree Week Celebrations with Pajama day! Congrats to the 2nd graders for having 100% of their class dressed up (or down?) today! Stay tuned for more festivities throughout the week.
