Menno will offer a Fan Bus to go to the playoff game in Hamlin. We need at least 20 people to ride the bus in order for it to go. It will be $10 per person to ride the bus. High school students and adults can ride the bus. PreK-8th grade can ride the bus if accompanied by a parent/guardian. Due to a calculation error by the SDHSAA for the football playoff seeding points , the Scotland/Menno Trappers will now play the Hamlin Chargers on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 7 pm. The game will be played in Hayti, SD. School will still be dismissed at noon on Thursday and Parent/Teacher Conferences are being held from 1:30-6:30 pm.

We will be dismissing all students at 12:00 noon on Thursday, Oct 23, 2025.

Trappers game report from the Yankton P&D online. Alcester-Hudson 64, Scotland-Menno 16 ALCESTER — Alcester-Hudson’s Jackson Meyer recorded four touchdowns as the Cubs downed the Scotland-Menno Trappers, 64-16, in prep football action on Friday. Meyer’s four touchdown catches included 101 receiving yards in the Cubs’ victory. Also for Alcester-Hudson, Tommy Walth went 13-for-15 passing for 232 yards. Walth tallied one touchdown run. Liam Moumy totaled 109 rushing yards with one touchdown. Jacob Cole recorded one touchdown catch. For the Trappers, Izayah Ulmer finished with 88 passing yards, including one touchdown. Ulmer totaled one rushing touchdown. Erick Buechler recorded one touchdown catch. On defense, Jaxon Stoebner tallied eight tackles for the Trappers. Alcester-Hudson closed the regular season at 6-2, while Scotland-Menno finished 4-4.

The Menno National Honor Society will be hosting their Veterans Day Program on Tuesday November 11th at 2pm in the Menno New Gym. All are invited, and encouraged, to attend. Coffee and bars will be served following the program in the Old Gym.
