The Avon/Scotland/Menno JH/JV golf meet scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday, April 20) is postponed to this Thursday, April 22. JH meet (Scotland) and JV meet (Tyndall).
The Menno NHS was recognized by the Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary with a Youth Activities Award for their efforts in supporting veterans and their families. In the letter, it stated, "We commend the youth of our country and members of the VFW Auxiliary who are Honoring Our Mission to Serve Veterans and continue to volunteer their time and talent to bring joy to America's heroes."
There are four slots open for the blood drive today. The times are 1, 1:30, and 2:45 (2). Just show up!

Due to the weather forecast for Monday, the Jr High track meet at Gayville has been postponed.
The Menno NHS members had brunch to celebrate their achievements this year. These students completed well over 835 hours of volunteerism this year.

The Robotics Club is looking to get back on track after a COVID filled year. If you would like to join and will be in high school next year, come to Mr. Schmucks' room and sign up on the sheet outside his door. We are looking for people that are good with their hands and like to build, people who are imaginative and think outside the box, people that are interested in computer coding, people that can competitively drive remotely controlled vehicles, and most of all people that want to have fun experience
6th Grade Band members attending the Gayville-Volin Honor Band tomorrow, 4/17, need to be at the school by 8:15 AM to load the bus. The bus will be on the South Side of the school and will leave at 8:30 AM.

The high school track team will NOT be attending the Avon Invite today due to the weather. There will be track practice after school for grades 6-12.
Thank you to all the students, staff and community members for helping out at the Menno Relays yesterday. Congrats to the athletes on your performances. It wasn’t an ideal weather day but we made it through. The meet lasted longer than scheduled due to using a new program required by the state but we survived and will do better next time. Thank you to the music boosters for the amazing concession stand. Many compliments were heard about the items you were selling. We couldn’t pull this off without all of your help. It is appreciated.
Menno Relays will be held on Thursday, April 15. Field events begin at 9:30 and running events at 11:30. This is a JH and HS meet. We have 14 HS teams and 12 JH teams. Go Wolves!
