The Menno FFA is excited to celebrate our annual FFA Week this week. Our program of activities for the week is as follows:
• Today - FFA Officers and FFA members will go into elementary classrooms to present a lesson on food science, specifically dairy products, and make homemade ice cream/butter with the classes.
• Dress Up Day: Hunting and Fishing
• Wednesday - Every staff member is invited to the Staff Appreciation Breakfast in the FACS room from 7:15 AM - 8:15 AM as a thank you for all your support throughout the year. The menu will include eggs, sausage, pancakes, juice, and coffee.
• Dress Up Day: America Day
• Thursday - FFA Petting Zoo. FFA members will bring animals to host a petting zoo in the Ag Shop for all grade levels to come and enjoy.
• Dress Up Day: Farm Injury Day
• Friday - Ag Olympics. To culminate the week, the FFA Officers will host Ag Olympics in the Old Gym where grade levels compete against one another in various contests such as tug of war, watermelon eating contest, and agriculture relays.
• HS/MS Ag Olympics will be held from 8:15 AM - 9:00 AM
• Elementary Ag Olympics will be held from 9:05 AM - 9:35 AM
• Dress Up Day: FFA, Blue and Gold

These four senior girls were given the National Women in Sports Day recognition certificates on Saturday, February 12th. Congratulations to Raygen, Paityn, Grace, and Bridget. Thank you for your dedication to women in sports at MHS.
The Menno Wolves GBB team won today in the first round of the Region 5B Tourney over FA/M 32-30. The Wolves travel to Centerville on Tuesday to take on the Tornadoes at 6:00 pm.
The Menno School District will start two hours late tomorrow, Tuesday February 22nd. Classes will begin at 10:15am. Thank you.

The PBIS reward today for MS/HS was a "beach party" in the gym. It included volleyball, hula hoops, ladder ball, limbo, Frisbee disk battle, and of course, Beach Boys music!

Info for Region 5B GBB Tourney:
Menno will be the 8th seed and host #9 seed Freeman Academy/Marion on Monday, Feb. 21 at 7:00 pm. This is a SDHSAA sponsored event and the admission prices are $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students. No regular season passes will be accepted. Junior class will operate the concession stand. No fundraisers allowed. Pep band will not play. Menno will be the home team and wear white.
General Information:
No noisemakers, banners, signs, or pictures will be allowed.
No hoops or spirit lines will be allowed.
Only varsity cheerleaders will be admitted in uniform.
All decisions of the tournament officials will be final.
Sportsmanship will be impressed upon the adults and students.
Good luck to the Wolves tonight as they travel to Scotland for the last regular season game. JV starts at 6:30. Military appreciation night (military admitted free), FFA will be doing an auction, elementary cheerleaders will be performing at half-time

Last regular season home bball games tonight vs. Freeman Academy/Marion-We will honor our senior players and cheerleader for senior night. Boys C game 4:00 in new gym, JV’s 4:30 – girls in old gym, boys in new gym; Varsity girls 5:45, Varsity boys 7:30. The dress up for the games tonight will be Hawaiian theme for Senior Night.
