The third graders and preschoolers had a blast at the nursing home.

Learning spelling can be fun when you use Battleship to study words. The middle school students have been using strategies to help them sink someone's battleship made up of the words this week for spelling.

It is time for test prep and Mrs. Knodel's students in sixth grade are in full swing using a unit focused on golf. Learning can be fun.

Great start for the Scotland/Menno Trappers--Track season might be just getting started for some, but senior Trinity Bietz is already in full stride! She put in the extra work and showed up big at the Class B Dan Lennon Invitational today, edging out the competition by just 1/4” to take first place. With a massive shot put throw of 37’4”, she topped a field of 54 athletes from multiple states. Hard work pays off—way to go, Trinity!

A big thank you to Helena who helped fund the Subway meal for staff during this evenings parent-teacher conferences! We appreciate your generosity and support. Have a great Spring Break, everyone!

We had so much fun at the Tractor Parade put on by the Menno FFA!

The spotlight this final day before spring break is on Menno’s Middle School Science teacher, Mrs. Stokes! This is her 17th year in the district, and she entered education because she enjoys working with kids. Mrs. Stokes is a big Disney and Marvel enthusiast, a Shane Falco (iykyk) fan, and would have been either a Sociology Professor or Marine Biologist if she hadn’t become a teacher. She has an excellent plan should she find herself amid a zombie emergency, due in part to her solid survival skills. We would like to take this chance to thank Mrs. Stokes for the many wonderful things she has done and continues to do for our students and the Menno District!
