Arlington Last Chance ARLINGTON — Scotland-Menno placed fourth in the boys’ division and seventh in the girls’ division of the Arlington Last Chance track and field meet, Friday in Arlington. Arlington edged DeSmet 97 to 92 for the boys’ title. Clark-Willow Lake (80) was third, followed by Scotland-Menno (69). The Scotland-Menno boys claimed three titles, with Izayah Ulmer winning the 1600 (4:40.12) and anchoring the Trappers to victory in the medley relay (3:45.48). Jaxon Stoebner, Riley Keppen and Bryce Sattler completed the relay for Scotland-Menno. Also for the Trappers, Mirik Vaith won the 800 (2:13.12). Clark-Willow Lake scored 103 points to win the girls’ title. Arlington, DeSmet and Deubrook Area each scored 99 points on the day. Scotland-Menno finished with 42 points. The top finish for the Scotland-Menno girls came in the 1600. Ellyana Ulmer won in 5:28.28, followed by Zoe Schaeffer (5:46.81) and Elle Hlavac (5:46.95) in second and third.

Congratulations to senior Bryce Sattler, who has been named to the All-State baseball team for 2025! With the award, he becomes the first-ever Trapper to be honored with All-State. Bryce hit .468 this spring, stole 29 bases, and was 3-1 over 34.0 innings on the mound. We're very proud of all the hard work and dedication you've given throughout your 4 years as a Trapper, Bryce!
