February 1, 2023, marked the 37th annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day. “Lead Her Forward” continues to be the theme for this year’s National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) and our kickoff for the next 50 years of Title IX. Menno High School supports National Girls and Women in Sports Day to increase visibility for female athletes and call attention to the positive influence of sport participation. The Women’s Sports Foundation applauds the vital role played by the individuals and organizations championing girls and women in sports. Tonight, we would like to honor nine senior female student-athletes with a certificate who have excelled at Menno High School in several sports throughout their four years.
