Due to the incoming weather, Menno School District will have a 2-hour late start tomorrow, February 15th.
Kindergarten Valentine's Day STEM activities--graphing candy hearts and will they sink or float? They sink! We also had some groovy glasses and glow rings from our Valentine exchange. A fun day!!❤️



The seniors will NOT be going to Pierre on Wed. Feb. 15, they will go on Feb. 22 instead.
The Career Fair is postponed tomorrow in Menno. Stay tuned for a new date in March.
Schedule change for today (2/14/23) due to the weather--We will NOT have a Boys C game or the JV games today at Viborg-Hurley. We will start with varsity girls at 4:15 and the varsity boys will follow. The bus will leave at 3:00. Games will be played in Hurley.

Little Wolves Cheer Camp is NEXT WEEK Tuesday, February 14th – Thursday, February 16th!! The camp will be in the old gym on Tuesday and Thursday, and on the stage in the old gym on Wednesday. Participants should be there at 3:30 pm, and picked up at the New Gym Doors at 5:00 pm. The performance is Friday, February 17th during halftime of the Varsity Boy’s Game against Scotland. Participants should be dropped off in the Old Gym at 7 pm to warm up and get ready for the performance. Parents and Grandparents are NOT able to get in for free; you MUST pay the price of admission. SENIORS: Lots of LOCAL scholarships are available now on the Counselor’s Corner. Check out the following scholarships and their requirements to apply. All of them are due on April 7, 2023, to the Counselor’s Office. See Mrs. Fischer with any questions. The scholarships are the Nicholas Huber Scholarship, Jim Woehl memorial Scholarship, Darlene Schempp Scholarship, Ptak Scholarship, Quast Scholarship, Rigo Scholarship, and the Albert Ulmer Scholarship. LOCAL means someone from Menno High School will receive these scholarships so please apply.
SOUPER BOWL week is February 13th - 17th. Elementary, Middle School, and High School will be competing against each other. Prize is TBD dependent on the winner. Elementary and Middle School will bring soup/crackers to their classrooms. High school drop-off is in the Ag classroom.
Touchdown 6 pts - Box/bag of crackers or box of ramen
Field goal 3 pts - Can of soup larger than 11 oz. or 3 packs of ramen
Safety 2 pts - Can of soup smaller than 11 oz. or 2 packs of ramen
Friday the 17th MS and HS students will have the choice of which movie they would like to watch after they have checked in with their 6th-period teachers. MS and HS teachers will each show a different movie. Elementary classes will watch a movie in their individual classrooms. FCCLA will be popping popcorn and distributing it to each class. The soup and crackers will be delivered to the Bethany Food Pantry in Freeman which serves the residents of Olivet, Menno, and Freeman communities. This service project is sponsored by the Menno FCCLA and FFA Chapters

February 13 - 17 is Souper Bowl week! Elementary, Middle School, and High School will be competing against each other to see who can donate the most soup and crackers. Collected items will be taken to the Bethany Food Pantry in Freeman. Please consider donating to this great cause! Soup and crackers can be dropped off at the office or sent with students and brought to the designated classrooms.

Meet Day! Good luck to Carol Massey as she and the Rebels wrestling team heads to the McCook/Montrose Tournament today. The meet will begin at 1pm and take place in Salem.
