
An online store for Menno Wolves and Scotland/Menno Trappers gear is opening beginning this evening. There is no specific closing date on the store, and once you complete your order it will be processed and sent directly to you in about 10 days.
The password to view the store is “wolves” – all lowercase. There is Menno Wolves, Trapper softball, baseball, and golf gear available. Most items have multiple color and logo options.

High School students (9-12) will be able to leave campus when they do not have a semester test with parent/guardian permission. This begins at 2pm, Monday, Dec 19th-Dec 21st. Permission slips will go home tomorrow. Call the office to allow your child to leave at 2pm on Monday and return the slip to the office on Tuesday.

ALEXANDRIA — Hanson coasted past Menno for a girls basketball win on Saturday.
Eliza Oltmanns and Alyssa Moschell scored 13 points apiece. Moschell added eight rebounds and five steals. Oltmanns added six rebounds and four steals. Taziah Hawkins finished with 12 points, while Kylie Haiar had nine points and 10 rebounds. Karlie Goergen dished out five assists.
Menno’s Layne Schmidt finished with 14 points and eight rebounds. Abby Bender and Julia Buechler scored nine points apiece.

ALEXANDRIA — Hanson picked up a boys basketball win over Menno on Saturday.
Jayce Slaba led the Beavers with 19 points, seven steals and four assists. Jackson Jarding added 13 points and eight rebounds.
Menno’s Kadeyn Ulmer scored 15 points, while Maveric Smith had eight points.

Congratulations to the following students for being selected to participate in the 2023 SDSU Honor Band Festival: Josie Stokes, Sophia Hogan, Lexie Hogeland, Haylee Hall, Lauren Schoenfish, and Will Stokes. Congrats again on all your hard work!

The boys basketball games vs. Bridgewater-Emery have been rescheduled to Feb. 2 with early start times due to B-E having a GBB game that night also. JV will start at 4:00 and varsity at 5:15.

The basketball games vs. Hanson have been moved to Saturday, Dec. 17. Games played at Alexandria.

The Menno School District will remain closed tomorrow, Friday, December 16th due to the forcasted high winds, low visibility, and dropping temperatures. With finals coming next week, we have asked middle and high school teachers to reach out to students tonight and tomorrow via Rooms or email with information about adjusted plans for next week. The weather may have put our Holiday Road gameshow on hold for a day, but this creates a good opportunity to thank all of those that donated to our celebration. It was amazing to see how many in our area were willing to contribute something when they found out it was part of an effort to thank our teachers and staff at Menno School! We live and work in a pretty awesome community - so thank you to everyone who helped make it possible!


The middle school boys basketball games at Bon Homme are canceled for today and won’t be made up.

Due to the forcasted weather conditions, the Menno School District will be closed tomorrow, Thursday December 15th. The basketball games scheduled for tomorrow at Emery will be moved to a later date. Stay safe everyone.

Girls' Basketball: DeBoer Powers Scotland Past Menno
SCOTLAND — Martina DeBoer scored 14 points as the Scotland Highlanders defeated the Menno Wolves 47-33 Tuesday.
Scotland improved to 2-0, while Menno fell to 0-3.
Jenna Vitek added 10 points and seven rebounds for Scotland, while Bailey Vitek registered nine points, four rebounds, three assists, and an impressive eight steals. Trinity Bietz tallied six points and eight rebounds.
Menno was led by Layne Schmidt’s nine points. Ashton Massey registered eight points and eight rebounds while Amanda Rames went for six points and six rebounds. Abby Bender had four steals in the contest.
Scotland travels to take on Bon Homme Thursday while Menno plays at Hanson Friday.
