HARVEST for HUNGER 2023: The 3rd annual Friendly Food Drive competition between Menno and Scotland schools. Who can bring in the most pounds of food for donation to their local food pantry? Please bring in any non-perishable food items and hygiene products to the Menno School. There will be a large box inside the North office door. Please bring items between March 14 and March 30. Monetary donations are accepted as well. HELP US KEEP THE TRAVELING TROPHY FOR 2023. THANK YOU!
Layne Schmidt is hosting a sock drive to donate socks to homeless shelters in Yankton SD. There will be a box near the front office at school until April 7.
Saturday, April 1 the Scotland/Menno Trappers Softball team will travel to Dakota Valley for their first games of the year. Game times are 3:30 vs. Freeman/Freeman Academy/Marion and 5:00 vs. Beresford. The bus leaves at 12:15.

Saturday's Trapper baseball games against Canistota/Freeman and Sunday's games against Baltic have both been postponed due to field conditions and forecasted weather. If make-up dates can be found, they'll be announced at a later time. We are officially fed up with winter.

Menno Seniors are hard at work completing their spring internships! We partner with local businesses and farmers to mentor students and provide training for future jobs and careers.

Prom Season is upon us and juniors are hard at work getting ready! What do you think that they are building and what the theme is?

The softball games scheduled for March 30 in Menno have been postponed. The Scotland/Menno Trappers Softball team will play their first games of the inaugural season this Saturday, April 1, at the Beresford Tourney. The tourney will be played at Daktoa Valley in N. Sioux City.

The boy's basketball team has left over team shirts. They are $20 each, please contact Coach Ulmer at aulmer@goldenwest.net if you'd like to purchase one.

On Wednesday during 5th period, yearbook will be taking whole class pictures and officer pictures of all grades 5-12. HS students will report to the new gym after their lunch for the pictures, and MS students will report to the new gym after their lunch. We ask that students wear Menno/Trapper gear for the photos.

In today's least shocking news, the Scotland/Menno Trappers Varsity and JV baseball games scheduled for Wednesday at Plankinton are being postponed due to the field not being playable yet. A makeup date will be announced at a later time.
