The Menno School District Special Education Department received a generous donation today from the Knights of Columbus following their recent statewide Tootsie Roll Drive. 100% of all the proceeds from drives across South Dakota are dedicated for use to assist those with intellectual disabilities. Here is Knights of Columbus member Bob Rennolet presenting Special Education Director Erin Lundberg with a check. Thank you to all who donated to the Tootsie Roll Drive and to the Knight of Columbus!

The fifth grade class was honored to have Mr. Kenny Wintersteen come into the class and talk about turtles. The students learned a lot about the painted turtle as well as Monarch butterflies. It is always fun to have Kenny share his wealth of knowledge on nature with students.
