
The Scotland/Menno Trappers Softball team will make their inaugural debut today at Tyndall. The Trappers will play Gayville-Volin at 5:00 and Bon Homme at 6:00. Go Trappers!

Saturdays Trapper softball tournament in Dakota Valley has been cancelled due to weather.

Scotland collected 157.4 lbs. of food and $20 cash for Harvest for Hunger.
Menno collected 409 lbs. of food for Harvest for Hunger.
Thank you to everyone for helping those in need. The traveling trophy will stay in Menno for the third year in a row.

The Harvest for Hunger Food Drive has come to an end. I had four students help me weigh the food and load it up. Alex Fischer is not pictured. It will be delivered to the Bethany Food Pantry in Freeman. Thank you to everyone that donated and I will get the results from Scotland and us out to you soon.

Finding ways to review for a test can be challenging, but websites like Blooket.com make it fun for the students. This site has about 10 different games that students can play that help them review test questions. It does take a little time to prepare the review, but the reward of exciting learning options makes it worth it!

HARVEST for HUNGER 2023: The 3rd annual Friendly Food Drive competition between Menno and Scotland schools. Who can bring in the most pounds of food for donation to their local food pantry? Please bring in any non-perishable food items and hygiene products to the Menno School. There will be a large box inside the North office door. Please bring items between March 14 and March 30. Monetary donations are accepted as well. HELP US KEEP THE TRAVELING TROPHY FOR 2023. THANK YOU!

Layne Schmidt is hosting a sock drive to donate socks to homeless shelters in Yankton SD. There will be a box near the front office at school until April 7.

Saturday, April 1 the Scotland/Menno Trappers Softball team will travel to Dakota Valley for their first games of the year. Game times are 3:30 vs. Freeman/Freeman Academy/Marion and 5:00 vs. Beresford. The bus leaves at 12:15.


Saturday's Trapper baseball games against Canistota/Freeman and Sunday's games against Baltic have both been postponed due to field conditions and forecasted weather. If make-up dates can be found, they'll be announced at a later time. We are officially fed up with winter.


Menno Seniors are hard at work completing their spring internships! We partner with local businesses and farmers to mentor students and provide training for future jobs and careers.
