The Menno School District will be dismissing early at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 26 for teacher in-service.

Picture Day will be on Thursday, September 25th! We will be taking individual school photos for grades PK-11th grade, Menno Fall Sports Photos, and Trapper Fall Sports Photos. Groups/Teams taking photos that day are Band, Football Cheer, MS & HS Football, MS & HS Volleyball, and Cross Country. • When starting your athletes order enter their personal package first. We are not able to accommodate more than one person on an individual memory mate package.
• On the Add On's page select product “Buddy Photo with a Sibling or Friend(s)”
• Choose an Add On product for your buddy picture. Remember what you chose! There will be a place to type this in at checkout. (If you'd like additional products for your individual package please add them here as well.)
• If all is correct! Check Out!
• On the next page you will add your athlete's Sport and Group Name. There will also be a place to add the name of their buddy and what product they would like together!

Grace Gaukel's Senior Project – Baby Essentials Drive for Zoe Care.
Zoe Care is a center in Yankton SD. They serve mothers who are facing unexpected or unplanned pregnancies, or who have questions and concerns about pregnancy, sexual health, or their options. They aim to provide support, information, medical tests, and practical resources without judgement. Grace says, “I want to do my senior project with Zoe Care because I believe in the work, they do to support families, new mothers, and babies in South Dakota. By organizing a baby drive, I can directly contribute to meeting practical needs, for that to happen I need help from you guys with donating new baby items!” See the attachment for drop-off locations. Donations accepted between Sept 17th and October 1st .

Congrats to the Trappers on their big win last night for Scotland's homecoming game. Report from Yankton P&D online Scotland-Menno 53, Burke 14 SCOTLAND — Scotland-Menno rolled to a 45-0 halftime lead and coasted to a 53-14 victory over Burke in prep football action on Friday. Izayah Ulmer was 8-of-10 passing for 187 yards and three touchdowns for the Scotland-Menno offense. He also had five carries for 117 yards and two touchdowns. Also for the victorious Trappers, Hunter Clark had three catches for 83 yards and two scores. Ryder Hauck rushed for 89 yards and a score. Jarret Andretta rushed for 54 yards and a score, and had three catches for 61 yards in the victory. Brayden Kludt finished with nine tackles (five solo) and Erick Buechler picked off two passes for the Scotland-Menno defense. Carter Fischer made seven stops (four solo) and Andretta added six stops (three solo) in the contest. Brody Indahl passed for 99 yards for Burke. Jake DeLong rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown. Ryggan Lambley also rushed for a score. Ezekiel Koenig made seven stops (three solo) and Jayder Schonebaum had six stops (four solo) for the Burke defense. Scotland-Menno, 3-2, is off until an Oct. 3 trip to Colome. Burke, 2-3, hosts Tripp-Delmont-Armour-Andes Central-Dakota Christian on Sept. 26.

Today the 6th Grade Volleyball Team is heading to Armour, SD for a day of volleyball action! Their first match is at 9:45am against TDA Silver, their second one at 11:15am against Ethan, and their third one at 12:00pm against Platte/Geddes. Matches after that will depend on ranking. Kindergarten visited the Menno-Olivet Care Center this week.
