The elementary gave out some student awards today for excellence during the month of March! Our Character Counts winners did a fantastic job displaying the trait of "fairness." They were - Everleigh M., Jack M., Charlotte F., Ajay J., Quinn H., Taralyn G., and Sawyer F.

The MS (Burke) and JV (Gregory) golf meets scheduled for next Tuesday April 9th have been moved to Friday April 12 starting at 10:00 am. The courses need a little more time to get ready for golf play.

SENIORS - If you have not turned in a Senior Picture to Ms. Sternhagen, you need to do this AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!! Jeremy from the paper called and needs these photos by THIS Friday April 5th. Parents of students in Grades 3-5: This Wednesday and Thursday morning your students will be taking the English portions of state testing beginning at 8:30am. Please have them get a good night’s sleep and a good breakfast. Thank you for your help with preparing your students for state testing.
Parents of 5th graders: Along with state testing on Wednesday and Thursday the 5th graders will be taking the Science portion of the state test on Friday morning beginning at 8:30am.
Due to field conditions, the JV Softball Quad scheduled for Thursday, April 4th at Marion has been cancelled.
Spring Sports pictures are next week Wednesday April 10th starting at 1pm. The schedule is as follows. Students/Parents will be able to order pictures online once picture proofs have come in.

Science Fair today at 2:15 in the Old Gym. All are welcome, so come by and see the cool projects our 4th and 5th graders have been working on!
The Horticulture class wrapped up its Floriculture Unit by making boutonnieres and corsages. They all did a great job for their first time and sported them around school the rest of the day.

The Scotland MS and HS Relays scheduled for Tuesday, April 2, has been postponed due to snow on the track, forecasted precipitation for Sunday and Monday, along with forecasted cool weather.
The S/M Trappers Softball game vs. Bon Homme at Scotland on Monday, April 1, has been postponed due to current field conditions and cold temps.
The USD Dental Hygienists will be here today, Wednesday March 27th. Please turn your permission slip into the office if you would like your student to be seen today.

Due to the wind and county road conditions, Menno School District will be closed on Tuesday, March 26th.
Menno School will not have school on Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1 due to the Easter holiday.
