We handed out some big awards yesterday in the Elementary honoring our Character Counts winners, Super Readers, and the Student of the Month.
Character Counts winners did an exceptional job displaying the trait of "Caring" last month. They include - Alex C., Mya L. (not pictured), Kenneth T., Harper K., Branson S., Lillian B., and Abby G.
Super Readers were Camden H., James Z., Jonathan M., Isaiah M., Charlotte H., Taralyn G., Irah R.
The Menno Elementary Student of the Month for February was Grace H.! Great job everyone!

The Menno FFA Chapter is celebrating the American Farmer with a Tractor Parade this Friday! We'd love to have any interested community members or businesses join the students in the fun. Just let Ms. Haberman or the office know before Friday that you'd like to enter!

**Attention Track participants!! The first practice for HS will begin on Wednesday, March 6th; MS practice will begin on Monday, March 18th

Summer registrations for softball, baseball and swim team have been sent home with elementary students. Sixth -12th Grade need to pick up a form from the office or print from the attachment in the daily announcements. Please return them to the school or a Menno Athletic Club Member by Friday, March 8. You may also mail them to Menno Athletic Club, PO Box 208, Menno SD 57045. There will be a collection box near the school entrance where you can drop off any unused equipment that you no longer need

Congratulations to the Pre-Schoolers on being the big winners of the Penny Wars this week! They raised $209.20 to help towards the week! Overall, the Menno Students raised around $1,300 to be given to the Kobee Sherman family. Thank you to all who participated!

Menno Middle School was privileged to hear Dr. Kevin Smith from DSU read his book Yucky on a Zoom call. He shared a lot of insights about writing books with everyone.

Leap'n through another great day this school year! Students were rewarded with a STEM activity for PBIS.










Happy Leap day from Kindergarten, 4th grade, and 8th grade! These classes all made time capsules to open on the next Leap Day! The 4th and 8th grade classes both opened one from last Leap Day in 2020!
