Tonight both Junior High Teams head to Hurley for our inaugural Trapper Basketball Double Header games against the Viborg-Hurley Cougars! 6th and 7th Girls start @4pm, 8th Girls @5pm, 6th and 7th Boys @ 5:45pm, and 8th Boys @ 6:30pm. We look forward to this new chapter and good luck to our middle school teams!

Come and listen to the Voice of Democracy speech by Fallon R. as well as Patriot's Pen essays by Eve R., Savannah W., and Briley C. at the Veterans Day program at 2:00 PM in the main gym. VOD and PP winners (Fallon, Eve, Jeremiah M., Briley Cross, and Olivia S.) will also be recognized.
Today the MS Girls Basketball teams traveled to Wagner for their first tournament of the year. They played in three divisions: 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.
6th grade went 3-0 on the day winning games against Wagner, Mount Vernon/Plankinton, and Bon Homme.
7th grade had two losses against Wagner and St. Francis, and fought back for a win against Andes Central/Dakota Christian.
8th grade had some tough games against Gregory, Wolsey-Wessington and Wagner but showed improvement throughout the day.
Keep working hard, hustling, and being aggressive girls! Go Trappers!

Congratulations to the local winners of the Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen contests. Fallon Rich will continue in the Voice of Democracy contest. Eve Robb, Briley Cross, and Olivia Sayler will continue in the Patriot’s Pen contest. Thank you to all the students who participated in both contests.
Congratulations to the students who represented Menno High School at the District 2-B Oral Interpretation Contest in Mitchell yesterday. Those who competed were Adie Rempfer – Storytelling; Ervin Schrock – Serious; Zoe Schaeffer – Oratory; Samuel Andersen – Poetry; William Stokes – Humorous; Emmalyn Heckenlaible and Bailey Neuharth – Duet; and Jaxon Stoebner, William Stokes, Zain Kishbaugh, and Samuel Andersen – Readers Theater. Ervin and the RT team will advance to regional competition on Tuesday, November 19 in Mitchell.
Congratulations to Ellyana Ulmer for breaking the volleyball season dig record with 515 digs! The previous record was 486 digs by Ashton Vaith in 2017. Awesome job Ellyana!!
