Military Appreciation Night will be Friday, February 16 in the Scotland HS gym. There will be coffee and treats in the community room for veterans beginning at 6 pm. The SDANG will once again be bringing a large flag to display for the national anthem. Any veterans who would like to participate in this display, please be at the gym by 6:15 and meet on the north side of the stage. Some big elementary awards went out yesterday! Our Character Counts winners did an amazing job exhibiting Courage during the month of January. Those earning the honor included Ava K., Ryken G., Charlotte H., Christina B., Ezra R., Lillian W., and Thanatos Y. Our January Supper Readers (not pictured) were Andrew N., Annabeth D., McKenly G., Landon H., Otto M., Lincoln G., and Ada S. The Menno Elementary Student of the Month, who served as a positive role model and displayed many of the characteristics we've learned about, was 4th grader Callie Huber! Congratulations everyone!

We will have a pep rally for BOTH boy’s and girl’s basketball teams before the first round of region games for the girls. The date for this is unknown at this time since we do not exactly know when they girls will play. It will either be on Friday February 16th (since we are off the Monday the day the game would actually be) or Tuesday February 20th. Regardless, the pep rally will start at 2:45pm! Join us to cheer on our Girl's and Boy's Teams before their regions games!!
