From 11:45am to 6:00 pm on January 13, there will be a blood drive in the fellowship hall of Grace Lutheran Church. Donors are needed and can schedule an appointment at www.vitalant.org or by contacting Mrs. Stoebner. Blood donors must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. Additional height/weight requirements apply to donors 22 and younger. Donors who are 16 must have a signed permission form from a parent or guardian. The form can be downloaded at www.vitalant.org.

The Groton Robotics Competition for this Saturday has been postponed, due to COVID. A makeup date has not been set, as of yet. The next scheduled meet is in Sioux Falls (CRE Academy)on February 12th.
Report cards for students in grades 3-12 are complete and available within Campus. Click on the Documents link on the left side of the page when you log in to DDNCampus. If you need a printed copy, please contact Sheila Wek at the school (387-5161) Reports for grades K-2 are being sent home with students since they are not available online. Both parents and students can access the report card from their DDNCampus account.
The updated Covid-19 policy is listed on our school home page. The CDC dropped the quarantine time for positive cases from 10 days to 5. Students/Staff that test positive can now return to school 5 days after their first symptom, as long as they are no longer showing symptoms and wear a mask for days 6-10. We will continue to monitor any further changes they or the DOH make and follow suit.
Due to the winter weather advisory and wind chill advisory for the Howard area starting this afternoon/evening and wind chill for our area, the basketball games have been postponed for tonight at Howard. They will be made up on January 14 at Howard. GBB and BBB practices will be held after school in the gyms. Please be finished with practice at 5:00 pm. All grade school practices are cancelled.

The Elementary got to enjoy some hot chocolate and a rice krispy bar today while watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It was part of this month's PBIS rewards, and the kids did a great job earning PAWS passes all December.
