Good luck to the Menno Wolves Jr. High bball teams today as they travel to Howard. Bus leaves at 2:15. Games start at 4:00 and will continue with a running schedule. Boys games are first.

The Family Fun Night is Friday, November 19 from 7 pm to 9 pm in the Menno City/School Gym.

Registration for the November 20 babysitting clinic is Wednesday, November 17 so we know how many 5th through 8th graders are attending. 5th graders can return their registration forms to Mrs. Hertz. 6th to 8th graders can return their registration forms to Mrs. Stoebner.

Good luck to those competing in the Region 2-B Oral Interpretation Contest in Mitchell tomorrow. Those competing are Salome - poetry; Maggie - oratory; Kaelie - serious; and the readers theater team of Salome, Isabella, Chandler, Josephine, Kaelie, and Lexie H.

The Menno Robotics competed hard in Mitchell, today. We had some mishaps, but came back in the qualifying rounds. We finished with 4 wins and 3 loses in qualify rounds and fell in the quarterfinals. Looking forward to Harrisburg next month!!

Menno FCCLA invites you to attend Family Fun Night on November 19 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Menno City/ School Gym. Freewill donation for evening of games, cake walk, snack, and movie.

Parents of 5th through 8th graders at Menno School: There will be a babysitting clinic organized by FCCLA members on November 20 from 10 am to 4 pm in the family and consumer sciences classroom.

The Food Science class learned the science of cooking and eating pancakes!!




Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated Veteran’s Day with us. We are honored and humbled by the commitment to our community and country our veteran’s have demonstrated. Today, we honor the sacrifices you have made for our lives and freedoms.
Our program Master of Ceremonies was National Honor Society President Kaelea McCoy. The VFW Rames-Bender Post 152 Presented the Colors. The Menno Band played "God Bless the USA". Middle school students Luke Plooster, Kylie Guthmiller, and Lexie McNinch read their Patriotic Pen Essays and high school sophomore Maggie Miller recited her Voices of Democracy speech. Bruce Anderson, Donald Auch, Glenn Hartman, Marlin Herrboldt, Bob Rennolet, and Larry Stern received Quilts of Valor for their dedication and service to this country.
