We will be having parent's night for basketball on Saturday, Dec. 10. The parents for the GBB team and cheerleaders will be announced after the JV girl's game. The parents for the BBB team will be announced after the girl's varsity game.
Parents will be admitted free to the game.
One act students should be highlighting their scripts. Our first practice will be on Wednesday, December 7th in Mrs. Knodel’s room from 7-8 A.M. Make sure to mark your calendars with all the practice dates.
There will be NO middle school boy’s basketball game tomorrow, (Tues. Dec. 6) with Freeman. Their players are participating with the HS JV team already. It will not be made up.
MS boys will practice after school on Tuesday, Dec. 6 in the old gym from 3:30-5:15.
MS girls will practice in the morning from 6:30-7:40 am.
Today the 5th and 6th graders will have music and the 7th and 8th graders will have PE.
Tomorrow the 5th and 6th graders will have PE and the 7th and 8th graders will have music
Congratulations to Lexie Hogeland on receiving a superior medal for storytelling at the South Dakota Oral Interpretation Festival in Mitchell on Friday night!! She gave a superb performance to a standing room only crowd. Congratulations to Kaelie Derby and Maggie Miller for stellar performances on Saturday! Although they didn’t receive superiors, they gave outstanding performances and received many compliments from other contestants and coaches.

Tough day in Canton for the Wolves robotics. Made same allies from Mitchell to help in the future. Groton meet is next up in January.
Both Kaelie and Maggie competed today against some tough competitors from across the state. While neither one obtained a superior, they each gave fantastic performances. Look for more information in the Freeman Courier next week.
Lexie won a superior in storytelling. So proud of her.

Angel Tree Week will be December 12th-16th! Paper ornaments are hanging on the tree in the free study area. Take an ornament off the tree, get the indicated gift, and return the ornament with the gift underneath the tree. The fliers for the event are attached. There will also be dress-up days to promote the event
