Scotland FFA is hosting a Mini CDE contest tonight in their Main Gym from 6 - 7:30p.m. Menno adults and students are invited to learn more about the different CDE's. This event is a great way for new FFA members to experience the different contests

Ethan Balvin had 11 points, while David Walter and Rocky Ammann added eight points apiece. Luke Peters and Evan Scharberg added seven and six points, respectively. Hayden McNinch led Menno with 14 points and five rebounds. Kadeyn Ulmer recorded nine rebounds, five points and three assists for the Wolves.

GBB game report from the Yankton Press and Dakotan Freeman 62, Menno 36 FREEMAN — The Freeman Flyers built a 32-18 halftime lead to get a 62-36 victory over the Menno Wolves in girls’ basketball action Friday. Ashlin Jacobsen led the Flyers with 15 points. Erin Uecker added 14 points. For Menno, Layne Schmidt scored 10 points. Freeman, 6-5, plays today (Saturday) in the Irene-Wakonda Classic. Boys basketball games vs. Freeman have been rescheduled to tomorrow Friday, January 20, at Freeman. We will play a doubleheader at Freeman. Schedule as follows: Boys C at 4:00 Both JV games at 5:00 Girls varsity at 6:15 Boys varsity at 7:30 The mini bus with C team boys will leave at 3:15. Big bus will leave at 4:00.

The 8th grade career fair at Wagner scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 19, has been postponed due to the impending weather. The rescheduled date is next Thursday Jan. 26 same time right after buses arrive and back before lunch.

The Menno School Board will hold a community presentation on Wednesday, January 25th @ 7:00pm in the New Gym to share a draft of a proposed expanded sports co-op agreement between the Menno and Scotland School Districts. Basketball, track, and boy's wrestling are the only sports being considered for possible future addition to the current Trapper co-op. Following the presentation, the Board will open the floor for public comment. If you have questions prior to the presentation, please contact Menno school administration. Thank you.
