Menno Band Day Order of Events for Friday, Oct. 3, 2025.

Trapper Cheerleaders will be offering free face painting next week Friday October 10th in the Old Gym during breakfast! First come, first serve while supplies last. You will only be able to get simple spirit designs. Come get decorated for the parade and Homecoming festivities!

It is the Menno Middle School Power Run Meet at the Menno Pioneer Power Show! Running events will start at 4pm. Good luck today runners!

Tonight the Menno Wolves take on the Bon Homme Cavaliers at home in an action packed evening of volleyball! JH matches will start at 4pm, JV at 5:30pm, and Varsity will follow. Matches are slightly early due to Bon Homme's Homecoming. Good luck tonight Wolves!

Menno Public School Announcement

Please note that there will be no school at Menno Public School on Friday, October 3rd due to Menno Band Day.

The parade will begin at 10:05 AM, featuring performances from 15 competing bands. We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy the music and support our talented performers!

The varsity Wolves lost in four tonight to the IW Eagles.

The JV lost in three to the IW Eagles. Set scores were 25-15, 18-25, 12-15.

The 6th graders won the 6th/7th match 2-0 over the IW Eagles. Set scores were 25-22 and 25-21. Good job girls!

The JV volleyball match will start early tonight at 6:00 pm due to the middle school matches getting done early.

The 8th grade Wolves lost to Irene-Wakonda 2-0 today in Menno. Set scores were 25-15 and 25-22.

Tomorrow we are hosting a free meal for all farmers in the Ag shop! Farmers are welcome to sit down and enjoy the meal or To-Go meals are available for friends or family to pick up. See you tomorrow October 1st!

Congratulations to the middle school Trappers Football team as they beat Viborg-Hurley today 16-6. The young Trappers are undefeated on the season at 12-0 with two games left. Great job boys and coaches. 🏈💪🏻🏈💛🖤

Today the Junior High and Junior Varsity Trappers are heading to Hurley to take on the Viborg-Hurley Cougars! The JH Game will start at 4pm and JV will play afterwards. Good luck today Trappers!

The Wolves had a battle with Freeman last night. VB report from the online Yankton P&D. Freeman 3, Menno 2 FREEMAN — It took five sets for Freeman to beat Menno 25-9, 25-18, 15-25, 23-25, 15-4 in Class B volleyball action in Freeman on Thursday. Rylee Peters led Freeman with 21 kills and 22 digs. Vaida Ammann had 28 assists and 27 digs; earning her 1000th dig. Cadence Hofer had nine kills and 12 digs. Claire Loofbourrow had three aces and 17 digs. Kylie Guthmiller had eight kills, four blocks and 20 digs. Lexie McNinch had eight kills, nine blocks, 16 digs and four aces. Madison Schaeffer had 19 assists, 13 digs and five aces. Freeman is now 11-4 and Menno is 1-13. Freeman’s next game is in the Great Plains Lutheran volleyball tournament in Watertown on Saturday. Menno’s next game is in the Sanford Pentagon volleyball tournament in Sioux Falls on Saturday.
