Great story on the front page of the P&D today detailing the recent Food Drive competition between Menno and Scotland schools. Both districts had some amazing students and staff working hard to help tackle the issue of food insecurity in South Dakota. We're proud of all their efforts and hard work!

There will be a Scotland/Menno Trappers football meeting in Scotland for all boys in grades 8-11 who plan on participating in football next fall. The meeting will be held Monday, May 1 in Scotland (school community room in the gym) at noon with your coaches. Mr. Bruckner will drive the bus over and leave at 11:45 am. Lunch will be provided. Boys are asked to bring their own water or soda. The bus will return back to Menno around 12:45. If you have any questions, contact your coaches.

It is time to preorder the 2023-2024 Menno School Calendar which has school and community activities as well birthdays and anniversaries. The cost of the calendar is $12.00 which includes 10 birthday/anniversary listings. Each additional listing is 50 cents. Order forms are being sent home with pre-school through 4th graders. Order forms are also available on the school home page. Elementary students are to return the order forms to their classroom teacher. Other order forms can be deposited in the box located in the school business office or mailed to Roberta Stoebner 512 S 5th St Menno, SD 57045. The deadline for ordering is Friday, May 12. Calendars will be delivered in July.

Change in Plans: The end of the year FCCLA Recognition Night and Installation Ceremony will be held on April 28th in the old gym at 7 PM. All members should make plans to attend. FCCLA members and their families as well as faculty are welcome to attend! Each FCCLA member should bring a pan of bars or a dessert item to the old gym or the FACS room on Friday during school. Drinks will be provided by FCCLA. There will NOT be a supper. Please see the attached flyer in the daily announcements.

There will be a Cross Country Meeting by the new gym @ 7:45 am on Monday, May 1. Anyone interested, please join us!

Today is Menno Classic Class Day on FM Radio KVHT 106.3 FM. Menno seniors will be recognized throughout the day so tune in and listen for our seniors’ biographies.
