MENNO, S.D. — Scotland/Menno broke through on Friday night for its first high school football win of the season, blanking Baltic in an 11-man football game.
Izayah Ulmer threw two touchdown passes as part of a 12-for-23 passing effort for 216 yards. He found Logan Sayler from 11 yards out in the first quarter and Kory Keppen from 20 yards out late in the first half to close the scoring for the game. In between, Bryce Sattler had a 5-yard touchdown run for the Trappers. Sayler finished with 79 yards on three catches, while Sattler had 74 yards on four receptions. Jayce Walloch was the Trappers’ leading rusher with 50 yards on 12 carries and he forced three fumbles on defense.
Scotland/Menno (1-4) returns to action on Sept. 22 when it hosts Wagner in Scotland.
