Zoe placed 30th and Ashlynn 233rd out of 354 runners in JV. Ashton placed 85th out of 334. What an amazing atmosphere to run in! Great job ladies.

Congratulations to Menno's 2023 Homecoming King and Queen candidates! Coronation will kickoff Homecoming Week on September 11th at 7:30pm.


Schedule change for MS and JV FB--The Sept. 18 games vs. Baltic have been moved to Tuesday, Sept. 19. MS starts at 4:00 and JV will follow. The games are in Menno. The reason for the change is due to homecoming coronations in Baltic and Scotland on Monday.

Save the NEW DATE!! Menno's Prom has moved to Saturday, April 27th.

SENIORS: The First scholarships for the year is available on the Counselor’s Corner of the Menno School website.
• The SD Elks Career and Tech. Ed. Scholarship is worth $1,500 and is available to someone going to a technical college only. The deadline is November 13, 2023.
• Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship is worth $4,000-50,000 and is available to someone going to a 4-year college. The deadline is November 13, 2023.
• SDPHCC is worth $500-1,000 and is available to someone going into the Plumbing, Heating and Cooling industry. The deadline is December 31, 2023.

The 1st FFA Chapter Meeting will be held in the Ag Room/Shop Friday September 8th at 3:00p.m. All FFA members and students interested in joining FFA should attend the meeting

There will be an FCCLA meeting during power hour on Wednesday the 6th. This is for any 9-12 grade student who would like to become an FCCLA member. Please make plans to attend!

FREE STUDY STUDENTS: Free Study students, if you have turned in your signed contract you may begin leaving the building on Tuesday, Sept 5th, if you choose to, during study hall, power hour, or dual credit times. If you want to stay in the building that is fine as well. See Mrs. Fischer with any questions.

MENNO — The Menno Wolves swept the Freeman Academy-Marion Bearcats 25-15, 25-23, 25-15 in prep volleyball action on Thursday.
Ashton Massey posted nine kills for the Wolves. Ellyana Ulmer got 14 digs. Joslynn Fischer had 20 assists and 10 digs.
Bearcat Isabelle McConniel got eight assists. Emma McConniel posted 13 digs. Alexa Gortmaker and Macy Gortmaker both had nine digs.
