Five students competed in the BV Lynx Tournament on Saturday. According to Lilly and Sam, " It was very skividi (cool)" Adie said, "I agree that the day was fun and I learned a lot." Emmalyn and Bailey said, It was better than we thought."
Tonight we honor and thank the seniors who have put in hours of dedication, hard work, and passion into the Trapper Football program. We thank you for your leadership and the inspiration you have been to our Trapper Family. You will be missed next year, but we look forward to everything that you will do.
We would like to give a huge THANK YOU to the ETRIA Toner Production Plant in Mitchell, SD for allowing some of our junior and senior students to attend their Opening Ceremony last week Thursday. This was a great opportunity for our students to learn about toner manufacturing, international business practices, and hear from SD State Officials Governor Kristi Noem and Representative Dusty Johnson. Thank you to everyone involved in helping make this a great day for our students!
Meet us on the gridiron for our last regular season game! Kick-off is at 7pm in Menno, and we will be playing the Platte-Geddes Black Panthers. Senior night introductions will start at 6:45pm. Lauren Schoenfish's Senior Project Cheer Camp will perform during halftime of the game. Come out, cheer LOUD, and let's get one last Trapper victory during this Great Plains Conference match-up! Today, the middle school students went to Freeman Academy for the Indigenous Peoples' Celebration. The students were able to see Native American dances and music by the Dakota Dance Club and listen to Secretary Flute, SD Office of Tribal Relations, explain about the culture.
CONGRATULATIONS to our Girls Cross Country team, as they took 2nd place at the Region 3B meet today! Zoe placed 7th, Ellyana 8th, and Nora 21st! With the runner-up finish, the entire team qualifies for the State B Meet in Rapid City on October 26th. Way to go girls! #howlwolves
The girls placed second as a team in region 3B. The wolves were lead by Zoe 7th, Ellyana 8th, Nora 21st, Savanah 24th and Briley 30th. The wolves get to run as a team next week at the state meet!
Kindergarten and 4th Grade were busy buddies this week! We carved jack-o'-lanterns and made Halloween door hangers with the residents at the Menno Olivet Care Center.
The Region 3B Cross Country Meet starts at 2:00 today in Scotland, not at 1:00.
The girls 5K will be at 2:00, boys 5K at 2:30, and awards at 3:00.

The Menno Volleyball team sold pink out t-shirts and donated $115.00to the Menno Pink Ladies group to help out local cancer patients. Thank you for your donation to an important cause.

Freeman 3, Menno 1
MENNO — Freeman upended Menno 25-20, 25-22, 13-25, 25-23 in Cornbelt Conference volleyball action on Monday.
Rylee Peters finished with eight kills and 21 digs, and Cadence Hofer had eight kills and two blocks for Freeman. Vaida Ammann posted 24 assists, 21 digs, two blocks and five ace serves. Emily Mendel had 21 digs and Karie Ortman added 16 digs in the victory.
Lexie McNinch finished with 15 kills and three blocks for Menno. Amanda Rames posted six kills and six blocks. Joslynn Fischer finished with 19 assists and two ace serves. Nora Robb posted nine assists, 11 digs, three blocks and two ace serves. Ellyanna Ulmer had 37 digs, Taylor Freier posted 22 digs and Haylee Hall added 18 digs in the effort.
Freeman, 6-14, hosts Oldham-Ramona-Rutland today (Tuesday). Menno, 14-9, travels to Alexandria to face Hanson today.
Freeman won the JV match 25-20, 25-14. The ‘C’ match was split, with Menno winning the first set 25-20 and Freeman claiming the second set 25-21.
