Three-Peat State Champion!
For the third consecutive year, Trinity Bietz has claimed the state title in shot put—this time in Class A! After winning the previous two years in Class B, Trinity made a seamless transition and brought home the 2025 Class A State Track & Field Championship with an outstanding throw of 39 feet, 3¾ inches.
Congratulations to Trinity Bietz on an incredible achievement and a remarkable three-year run as a state champion! You will be missed!!

Complete annual physical packets are now available in the school office and on the school app under Documents > Athletics. Please schedule your child’s sports physical as soon as possible.

Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025 couldn't keep up with Alcester-Hudson Varsity Cubs and fell 17-7 on Tuesday at Alcester.
Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025 opened the scoring in the first after Kylie Guthmiller homered to left field, scoring two runs.
Alcester-Hudson Varsity Cubs captured the lead, 4-2, in the bottom of the second when Jenna Manning drew a walk, scoring one run, Lexi Miiller singled, scoring one run, and Ava Kingma doubled, scoring two runs.
Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025 tied the game up in the top of the third thanks to two singles. Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025 tied the game at four on a single by Trinity Bietz.
In the bottom of the third, Alcester-Hudson Varsity Cubs broke up the tie when Lexi Miiller doubled, scoring two runs. Then a double by Emma Solberg followed to extend the lead to 9-4.
Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025 made the score 9-7 in the top of the fifth inning when Ervin Schrock hit a solo home run to center field, and Trinity Bietz homered to right field, scoring two runs.
Emma Moller earned the win for Alcester-Hudson Varsity Cubs. The starting pitcher surrendered seven hits and seven runs over six innings, striking out 10 and walking three. Kylie Guthmiller took the loss for Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025. The pitcher went five and two-thirds innings, allowing 17 runs (14 earned) on 16 hits, striking out five and walking four.
Kylie Guthmiller and Trinity Bietz were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in three runs for Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025. Kylie Guthmiller, Trinity Bietz, and Ervin Schrock each collected two hits for Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025.
Alcester-Hudson Varsity Cubs tallied 16 hits in the game. Lexi Miiller, Alcester-Hudson Varsity Cubs's number eight hitter, led the team with four hits in four at-bats. Emma Solberg went 2-for-5 at the plate and led the team with four runs batted in. Delta Pies, Ava Kingma, and Emma Moller each collected multiple hits for Alcester-Hudson Varsity Cubs. Alcester-Hudson Varsity Cubs turned one double play in the game. Alcester-Hudson Varsity Cubs didn't commit a single error in the field. Paxtyn Moller had the most chances in the field with 10.

A big three run 5th inning for the Trappers with a solo home run by Ervin Schrock and two-run homer by Trinity Bietz boost the Trappers and currently down 7-9.
The A/H Cubs had a big two-out rally and scored five runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning to extend the lead to 9-4 over the Trappers.
The Trappers start the 3rd inning with the top of the order after a tough second inning with some timely big hits by the A/H Cubs. Trappers down 4-2.
The S/M Trappers are up 2-0 in Alcester after the first inning thanks to a big two run homer and three strikeouts by Kylie Guthmiller. Go Trappers!!

ARLINGTON — Scotland-Menno placed fourth in the boys’ division and seventh in the girls’ division of the Arlington Last Chance track and field meet, Friday in Arlington.
Arlington edged DeSmet 97 to 92 for the boys’ title. Clark-Willow Lake (80) was third, followed by Scotland-Menno (69).
The Scotland-Menno boys claimed three titles, with Izayah Ulmer winning the 1600 (4:40.12) and anchoring the Trappers to victory in the medley relay (3:45.48). Jaxon Stoebner, Riley Keppen and Bryce Sattler completed the relay for Scotland-Menno.
Also for the Trappers, Mirik Vaith won the 800 (2:13.12).
Clark-Willow Lake scored 103 points to win the girls’ title. Arlington, DeSmet and Deubrook Area each scored 99 points on the day. Scotland-Menno finished with 42 points.
The top finish for the Scotland-Menno girls came in the 1600. Ellyana Ulmer won in 5:28.28, followed by Zoe Schaeffer (5:46.81) and Elle Hlavac (5:46.95) in second and third.

Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025 couldn't keep up with Alcester-Hudson Varsity Cubs and fell 14-4 on Friday.
Alcester-Hudson Varsity Cubs got on the board in the top of the first inning after Delta Pies walked, and Jaeley Christensen doubled down the right field line, each scoring one run.
Alcester-Hudson Varsity Cubs scored one run in the top of the third on a solo home run to center field by Jenna Manning.
Alcester-Hudson Varsity Cubs scored six runs on five hits in the top of the fourth inning. Delta Pies hit a grand slam to center field, and an error scored two runs.
Scotland/Menno Varsity Trappers 2025 made the score 9-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning when Trinity Bietz hit a solo home run to center field, and Kyliah Bjorum singled, scoring one run.
Alcester-Hudson Varsity Cubs scored five runs on three hits in the top of the fifth inning. Emma Solberg doubled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Paxtyn Moller scored after tagging up, Emma Moller scored after tagging up, and an error scored one run.
