FCCLA members, we are operating the concession stand for the upcoming double-header basketball game with Howard on Tuesday, January 5. There will be a sign-up sheet to work when we meet on Wednesday, December 16. The second double-header basketball game is on Saturday, February 6 when we play Irene-Wakonda.

School will be dismissed at 12:40 on December 17 and 18. Busses will run at that time. There will be no school from December 21 through January 1. School will resume again on January 4.

Menno GBB and BBB teams will be playing on Monday, Dec. 28 at the Parkston Classic. Menno GBB will play Platte-Geddes at 9:00 AM and the Menno BBB team will play Parkston at 4:30. Go Wolves!

Info for JH Cornbelt Conf Tournaments this Saturday: CC JH GBB at Hanson 9:00 -- Leave at 7:45 am CC JH BBB at Freeman 9:00 - Leave at 8:20 am Cornbelt Conference JH BBall Tourneys--Masks are mandatory for fans, coaches, and for players when they are not in the game; an exception for active participants during their contest. Hand sanitizer will be available at each door entrance and on the score table. Mask requirement is the same for both tournaments. Players should come in uniform to the tournament site. Beginning January 1 the Menno School District will be going to “Live Ticket” for airing all school activities. Live Ticket is free for the general public. This means we will no longer be using the NFHS system as of Jan. 1, 2021. Keep this in mind when/if renewing your subscriptions to NFHS.

The elementary concert this evening will be virtual. Students will be taping the concert today and it will air at 7:00 p.m. this evening. To view the concert, there will be a link on the school’s webpage: https://menno.k12.sd.us and it will also be posted on social media. The link on the webpage will be up for 24 hours.

Picture retakes and JH basketball pictures will be taken Monday, Dec. 7 starting at 1:00. Envelopes for individual picture retakes and memory mates are available in the office.
