The Physical Science class designed and built catapults and then shot marshmallows to see which design would shoot the farthest. Winners were Aiden, Isaac, Kaelie and Bianca with their farthest shot going 28 feet!!

Jim River Trappers football meeting on Friday morning in Menno at 9:00 AM in the wellness center. Any students in grades 8-11 planning to go out for high school varsity football next fall is encouraged to attend.
There will be a meeting with sign-ups for golf next Wednesday, Mar. 17 at 3:20 in the old gym. Practice starts March 29.

Congratulations to the students from Menno Middle School who participated in the Cornbelt Conference Junior High Oral Interp contest on Thursday. Those with superior ratings were Haylee, Desiree, Brianna, and Brockton. Those with excellent ratings were Joslynn and Erick. Those with good ratings were Carter and Brayden. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.
One more Quiz Bowl practice for MS on Tuesday at 7:40 in the morning. Cornbelt Conf. Quiz Bowl next Monday in Hanson. Leave at 2 from front of school. Hanson has a mask mandate, so they need to bring a mask that day.

There will be a meeting Friday after school in the old gym for all boys and girls in grades 6-12 interested in going out for track. If you are unable to attend, but still wish to go out, please talk to Mr. Bruckner, Mr. Rice, or Mrs. Stokes.
There WILL be a spectator bus tomorrow for the SoDak16 game in Huron. If you would still like to sign up, please call the school office by noon on Thursday. Cost is $10/adult and $5/student (grades 6-12). Grades 5 and younger can ride only if accompanied by a parent. Bus will leave at 3:30. Pick up will be on west side of the gym.
