Cross country practice for grades 8-12 will be held at 8:00 a.m. on Thurs., August 12. After practice we will have a short meeting for everyone in grades 6-12 that plans to go out for CC. The meeting will start at 9:00 am. Practice on August 13, 16, and 17 will be at 7:00 a.m. and practice, starting on the Agu. 18, will be at 6:45 a.m. Athletes need to make sure to have physicals before they practice. 6th and 7th grade will start practice August 19.
Through the National School Lunch Program, the Menno School District has been approved for free meals, which includes breakfasts and lunches, for all students effective the 2021-2022 school year. The free meals will continue until the last day of school in May. Students getting seconds will still need to have money in their accounts.
JH football players will check out equipment and hand in forms on Thursday, Aug. 12 at 5:00 pm on the stage in the old gym. Any boys in grades 6-8 interested in playing football need to attend. Practice starts on Friday, Aug. 13 from 4-6 pm at Menno.
