President Shows Importance of Education
By: Stephanie - September 21, 2009
President Barrack Obama recently gave a speech to the young people of our
nation. His speech was about how students should make every effort to do
well in school and to get good grades because we are the future of our
nation. President Obama told students that it is our education and is our
responsibility, that no matter where we came from doesn't mean that we can't
get a good education.
Presidential Speech Stirs
Mixed Emotions
By: Shiloe - September 22, 2009
I agreed with most of President Obama's speech to students across the United
States because students should be able to get their work done correctly
without any excuses. I can understand when things at home are really hard,
something serious happens, and the student honestly couldn't complete their
homework; however, you should still work hard to get the job done. Without
an education you cannot get a good paying job, and without a good paying job
money is going to be tight. You should have to set a goal that you can race
towards and try your hardest so now matter how far you fall back, you will
have something to land on to get you somewhere.
